Aisha and her husband, Abu Rashid (Rashid's father), live a simple and happy life with their children. On the other hand, Umm Dhari always quarrels with her husband for being lazy at work and staying at home all the time.
Abu Rashid's financial situation worsens, and Aisha is forced to sell her gold in order to pay off his debts. Meanwhile, his aunt, Umm Munira (Munira's mother), visits him after the death of her daughter's husband, and she stays in Abu Rashid's house.
Umm Munira plots with her daughter to trap Abu Rashid and push him to marry Munira. At the same time, nightmares plague Aisha, and she worries about the lives of her children.
Umm Dhari accuses her husband of stealing her money, while Munira and her mother plan to convince Abu Rashid that Aisha is hallucinating, and she resorts to a sorceress to put a spell on her.
Umm Youssef warns her neighbor Abu Rashid about his aunt and her daughter, but he does not believe that they would resort to witchcraft, then Abu Rashid takes Aisha to the hospital because of her poor condition.
The doctor informs Abu Rashid that Aisha suffers from schizophrenia, and Munira takes advantage of this and gets closer to Abu Rashid and takes care of him so that he would marry her. Also, she convinces him to tell his children falsely that their mother, Aisha, died in the hospital.
Years pass and the children grow up. Fatima, Aisha's daughter, marries Saud, and Youssef becomes romantically involved with Sarah. Abu Rashid's business expands and he becomes a businessman.
As Youssef gets hired at the hospital where Aisha is being treated, he discovers that she is still alive and tells his mother about it.
Fatima resents her husband's lack of interest in her as well as his drinking, while Youssef tells his mother about hosting Aisha in their home after she is discharged from the hospital, and Ibrahim returns from travel.
As Dhari gets acquainted with Jinan and pretends to be the owner of the car showroom where he works, she goes after his money. Aisha asks Youssef not to tell her husband about her discharge from the hospital.
Youssef resents Sarah's condescending treatment of him and her refusal to let Aisha stay in his house. The police arrest Saud for drunk driving.
Dhari discovers that Jinan has deceived him, and they agree together to steal the cars of the showroom. Aisha is saddened when she discovers that her children think she's dead.
Youssef informs Aisha of Abu Rashid's marriage to Munira, whereupon Rashid meets his mother Aisha and discovers that his parents lied about her death.
The owner of the car showroom discovers that Dhari and Jinan have stolen the showroom's revenue, so he fires him. Meanwhile, Fatima meets her mother.
Munira mediates for Dhari to work in Abu Rashid's company, and Rashid tells the rest of his siblings about their mother, but Ibrahim and Sheikha refuse to meet her at first.
Youssef decides to leave Sarah. Ibrahim and his sister Sheikha refuse not to meet their mother again. Dhari plots with Jinan to have her work as a secretary for Abu Rashid so that they can swindle him.
Umm Youssef tells Aisha about the witchcraft of Munira and her mother which was the reason for her admission to the hospital, whereupon Aisha confronts Abu Rashid and Munira about that, and he kicks her out of his house.
Dhari makes Jinan get close to Abu Rashid, against whom Aisha decides to file a lawsuit for stealing her money, so he reports her to the hospital and demands that she be committed again.
Aisha returns to the hospital forcibly, while Dhari and Jinan continue their scheme to defraud Abu Rashid, and Rashid proposes to his colleague, Hanan.
Munira fails to sabotage Hanan and Rashid's engagement. Youssef tries to get Aisha out of the hospital again.
Fatima discovers that Saud has cheated on her with her co-worker. Abu Dhari likes Maha, and Abu Rashid becomes attracted to Jinan.
Fatima asks for a divorce, while Dhari falsely claims that Aisha attempted suicide so that the hospital refuses to discharge her.
As Rashid agrees with Hanan to get married, Umm Dhari convinces her son to marry Fatima out of greed for her father's money, and Rashid demands his share of his mother's money from his father.
Abu Rashid tries to force his daughter Fatima to marry Dhari, whose father decides to marry Maha, for whom he has fallen, and Rashid opens a new company with his wife, Hanan.
Abu Dhari marries Maha without his wife's knowledge, while Dhari sells important papers belonging to Abu Rashid's company to the latter's competitor, and Ibrahim tells his mother that he will travel to Lebanon to complete his studies.
Dhari blackmails his father after discovering his marriage to Maha, while Ibrahim meets and admires his classmate Nadine, and quarrels between the co-wives Munira and Jinan begin to erupt.
Fatima tells Jinan about what her father did to her mother. Dhari steals the marriage contract of his father and Maha and informs his mother of his marriage. Munira resorts to witchcraft again so that Abu Rashid would divorce Jinan.
As war breaks out in Lebanon, Aisha worries about her son Ibrahim and suffers a heart attack, while Dhari and his mother cause his father to go to prison, and the latter decides to divorce Umm Dhari.
When Abu Rashid discovers that Munira has cast a spell on him and his wife, Jinan, he quarrels with her and kicks her out of the house.
The police arrest Munira in the sorcerer's house, and Abu Rashid commits her to a mental hospital. Umm Dhari's house burns down. As the police arrest Dhari for stealing Abu Rashid's tender files, the latter enters the hospital after divorcing Jinan. Fatima marries Youssef, and Aisha lives with her children.
