The lawyer Galal lives with his extremely jealous wife, Amani, who resents their neighbor's relationship with her husband, as he takes over one of her cases. Wafia confesses to her friend, director Ashmawy, of her love for Galal since he was a student.
Amani asks Galal not to take Wafia's case, so Ashmawy advises Wafia to become friends with Amani, while the maid Houria advises Amani to do the same, so that each of them can get rid of the other. Galal quarrels with Amani over the novels that she writes.
Galal decides to leave the house again after Amani falsely claims that she has killed Wafia. With Amani discovering that Wafia slept in Galal's office, she decides to leave the house as well. Wafia tries to persuade Galal to check Amani into a mental clinic for believing that she's dead.
Wafia reveals her agreement with the director to delude Galal of Amani’s insanity and to put her in a mental clinic, while Amani reveals to her journalist friend Mohi that she claimed insanity to get rid of Wafia. Khalil agrees with his brother to get rid of Wafia and frame Amani for it.
Mohsen warns Galal of Amani killing Wafia, so he sets out to warn Amani of Wafia and her desire to kill her at the same time.
Mohsen tries to persuade Amani to invite Wafia in her home in order to kill her, At the same time, Zaghloul warns Galal about Wafia trying to kill Amani because of her love for him.
Galal believes that Mohi plotted with Amani to kill Wafia, at the same time Amani thinks that Galal has killed Wafia, which ignites the situation between the three.
Wafia is murdered, and Amani is accused of killing her. As the prosecutor begins the investigation, Galal tries to prove Amani's innocence.
Galal suspects Sahlis and tries to entrap him, while Mohi tries to bring Mohsen down and threatens him with Wafia's letter, in which she tells him before her death that Mohsen wants to kill her. The police arrest Amani and Galal on charges of blackmailing Sahlis and Mohsen.
Amani, in cooperation with Ashmawy and the editor-in-chief, is able to entrap Mohsen and record his confession of killing Wafia. After his arrest, the investigation proves that Mohsen is not the killer, and the search for the killer continues. Amani's suspicions return that Galal killed Wafia.
Galal and Amani suspect each other, and try to prove Wafia's murder. Galal agrees with Sahlis to falsely claim that he married Wafia before her death.
Galal deludes Amani that there is a criminal who threatens his life, and that he is the killer in order to keep her away from the case, but she decides to search for the killer, and she is able to put Galal in jail so that she protects him from the killer.
Mohi tells Mohsen that there is a letter that Wafia concealed before her death in which she reveals the murderer. Ashmawy admits to the murder of Wafia, after Galal agreed with the police to entrap him. Amani returns again to write her police novels, much to Galal's resentment.
