As the writer Masha'el's bag gets switched with Sultan's bag, he blames her for reading his diaries. Marwa's husband beats her. Maha quarrels with Masha'el for controlling her and her sisters. So'ud hits a young man with his car, and Wa'ad gets investigated about the incident.
Masha'el offers to publish Sultan's diaries, but he refuses. When Talal tells Wa'ad that she did not hit him with her car, she reveals to him that it was her fiancé who hit him, but she is forced to defend him. Sultan decides to look for a job.
Marwa tries to commit suicide and Sultan saves her. So'ud asks Wa'ad to marry him, and he quarrels with her when he finds out about her relationship with Talal. Maha tries to find out Sultan's story. Sarah asks Sahar to help her get accepted into the talent committee, but she only helps Rashid.
Sultan quarrels with Nasser for protecting Masha'el and her daughters. Masha'el asks Sultan to work for her in the publishing house. Wa'ad discovers that Talal has cancer. Nasser threatens his wife Marwa with revenge on her mother. Faten tells Sarah that Sahar is trying to entrap Rashid.
Sarah informs Sahar that Rashid withdrew from the program on Faten's wish, but Sarah makes a deal with her to falsely claim that Faten is engaged to let Rashid complete the program. Nasser attacks Sultan with a knife, and he is transferred to the hospital.
Nasser discovers Sultan's criminal record, and informs Dr. Mahmoud; as a result, Sultan decides to leave Kuwait and travel. Masha'el tells her daughter that she agrees to her marriage to So'ud despite his bad reputation.
Masha'el tells Sultan that Maha is not her daughter but her step-daughter. Talal regains his health and is discharged from the hospital. Nasser asks So'ud to help him marry Faten.
Masha'el compels Mahmoud to apologize to Sultan. Maha confesses her love for Sultan. So'ud agrees with Nasser to keep Rashid and Faten apart and kidnap her. Wa'ad confesses her love for Talal.
Sultan tells Maha his story and the reason for his imprisonment. Nasser reveals to Mahmoud the agreement between So'ud and Sahar to keep Rashid and Faten apart. Masha'el approves Sultan's marriage to Maha.
Sultan and Maha's wedding takes place. Mahmoud accuses Sultan of kidnapping his daughter after Nasser arranges the matter and convinces Mahmoud to do so. Sultan is arrested. Nasser bargains with Marwa for her divorce in exchange for waiving her monthly salary.
When Wa'ad tells So'ud that she wants to break off their engagement, he threatens her and Masha'el. Sultan gets out of prison. Rashid asks Sahar to tell Faten the truth, but she deceives them all and insists on keeping Rashid and Faten apart.
As Marwa poisons her husband Nasser, she asks for Sultan's help. Sultan saves him and rescues her from the police. Wa'ad asks for a large sum of money to help Talal with a surgery.
So'ud attacks Wa'ad, threatening her to end her relationship with Talal. Sultan's mother dies. Rashid reveals Sahar's scheme to separate them to Faten.
As Mahmoud pays the penalty clause for Rashid to leave Sahar and the program, he asks Rashid to stay away from her. Sultan inherits a sum of money after the death of his mother and prepares to marry Maha. Wa'ad is forced to agree to marry So'ud.
So'ud and Wa'ad get married, and she decides to take revenge on him. Nasser and So'ud agree to entrap Mahmoud, and fabricate charges against Rashid to win Faten over. Wa'ad reveals to Umm So'ud (So'ud's mother) the reason for her marriage to him after his assault on her.
Umm So'ud kicks her son out after Wa'ad tells her about what he did. Mahmoud's disabled daughter kills her father by mistake after Nasser puts a gun in her toys. Sultan reports So'ud to the police and informs them that he deals drugs.
Sultan and Maha get married, and Marwa finds her husband Nasser dead at home from a drug overdose. So'ud is arrested on charges of drug trafficking. Wa'ad tells Talal about what So'ud has done to her.
Sawsan tells Sultan that she secretly married Maha’s father. Maha gives birth to her first child. Masha'el proposes to Sultan to become partners with Faten in her mother’s publishing house.
Sawsan gets close to Rashid after getting hired at Faten's mother's publishing house. Masha'el travels to Saudi Arabia and discovers Sultan's deception, and that he created all the stories about his life so that he can get close to her and her daughters and seize everything in revenge.
Masha'el rebukes Fares for lying to her about Sultan's family and the information about him. She asks Talal to help her, but Sultan threatens to expose the truth about Maha and her daughter Marwa, who killed her husband.
Sultan agrees with Sarah to bring Sahar and Rashid back together, while Masha'el asks her daughter Sahar to return from travel after the truth about Sultan is exposed. Sultan tells Maha that the secretary Sawsan is her father's wife, and he sedates Masha'el to raise questions about her mental ability.
Masha'el warns Faten about Sultan. Sultan tells So'ud that his wife Wa'ad is still in love with Talal, and So'ud asks him to kidnap his son. Masha'el is surprised by Sawsan telling her falsely that Sahar is the one who asked her to separate Rashid and Faten.
Marwa discovers a flash drive with a meeting recorded between Nasser and Sultan's uncle, in which he tells him the truth about Sultan. Sahar confronts Sawsan with what she told her mother, but she denies everything. So'ud agrees with a criminal to kidnap his son.
Sultan discovers that the criminal kidnapped his daughter instead of So'ud's son. Talal tells Wa'ad that her mother is in a bad psychological condition and proposes a treatment for her. Maha is afraid that her mother's condition will control her, so she sells all their property.
Masha'el surprises everyone that she's staying in a house by herself, so that she gets away from Sultan's control. Masha'el convinces her daughter Marwa to study abroad and transfers all her money to her. Sultan tries to persuade Masha'el's daughters to transfer the ownership of everything to Maha.
Sultan tries to persuade Maha and her sister to interdict their mother. Masha'el discovers that Sultan slips medicine to her in the food to affect her condition, and she decides to take revenge on him.
Sultan tells Masha'el's daughters that Marwa traveled to America with all of her mother's money. Sultan makes Faten think that he loves her. Marwa tries to tell her sisters about everything that happened with Sultan, but he succeeds in putting Masha'el's in a mental hospital.
Masha'el tries to inform her daughters of the papers confirming that Maha is not her daughter, and the doctor tells them. Talal tells Faten about Sultan's attempt to buy the publishing house's equipment at a low price so that he can control everything.
A court order is issued to interdict Masha'el, but her daughters and Sultan are surprised that she transferred all her property, sold the rest, and deposited the sums in Swiss banks. Talal agrees with Faten to entrap Sultan.
Masha'el is discharged from the mental hospital and begins to take revenge on Sultan. Sultan is surprised to learn that he is gravelly ill and that his days are numbered. He expresses his repentance, says goodbye to his wife, and leaves.
