Hosni's brother is angry that he sold his land illegally, and Ibrahim decides to go to him in the restaurant with Wafaa and Major Adham, but Hosni disappears in mysterious circumstances.

As everyone is surprised by Hosni's sudden disappearance, they start looking for him. Major Adham asks Wafaa out for lunch, and they get closer to each other.

As everyone thinks that Hosni fled to Germany, it turns out that he did not leave the country in the first place, nor did he return to the village. Hosni's car turns up, while Hosni is found murdered.

Osama and Adham continue to investigate the circumstances of Hosni's killing, and Hosni's brother is shocked by the news of his murder. It's revealed that Hosni had ties to a number of smugglers.

An investigation is conducted with Fawzi and his son, the murdered's relatives in the village, who become suspects in Hosni's murder because of their dispute over the land. Umm Tariq gets questioned too regarding her relationship with him.

The police interrogate Walid because of the money in his possession, while Adham investigates Umm Tariq's relationship with her siblings.

The accountant Samir complains about Major Osama's way of interrogating him, and the investigation continues. Samir is arrested on charges of murder, as his involvement in what happened becomes clear.

Osama interrogates Wafaa and asks her silly questions. He also interrogates Ibrahim, the employee at Hosni's company, who confesses to a corrupt deal in which he was involved. Adham tries to find out about Wafaa's relationship with Hosni.

While interrogating Souad, Adham brings Wafaa with him, so she'd feel safe and talk to him. Adham feels that Osama knows more about Wafaa than he thought, and discovers her lies during the investigation.

Wafaa decides to confess what actually happened to her and Hosni, and about the time she worked with him in the company, and how they met. Osama's boss is angry at the way he's handling a suspect.

Osama is asked to step down from the investigation into Hosni's case, and Adham takes over the case alone. Osama suspects that Hosni was killed to keep him away from Nada, whom Kamal loved.

Adham interrogates Kamal about the repeated delays of his wedding to Nada, and also investigates Hosni's relationship with Wafaa, and the arguments that occurred between them.

Adham recalls the period in which he was living with Hosni and his disagreement with him due to Hosni's desire to throw a gambling party, and investigates a number of situations that happened between him and a number of other people.

Adham investigates Hosni's illegal activities, his long-standing gambling habit, and the fate of the money he earned from gambling.

Osama decides to subject Souad to a shock so that she remembers what happened the day Hosni was killed. It's decided to bring Hosni's brother from the village again for interrogation.

Adham hears from Souad her testimony about what happened on the night of Hosni's murder, and he decides to devise a plan in order to catch the real killer, who turns out to be Hazem, Hosni's partner.
