Suleiman tells his wife Zahira that the town’s deputy has proposed to their daughter Samiha, but he refuses her marriage to the son of his enemy. Ismail forces Suleiman to accept reconciliation between him and Abdel Moneim’s father.

2nd Episode

Suleiman is forced to agree to Samiha's marriage to Abdel Moneim. Saadia refuses to marry Saber. As Abdel Moneim travels to work in the health unit, he is surprised that there are many deaths as a result of a clash between the people of the town.

As Abdel Moneim dies in a shooting accident in the town, Samiha suffers a psychological trauma. Sheikh Hamed decides that she should see a psychiatrist, but her father rejects the idea.

Darwish tells Samiha of his concern for Ezzat, and that he guards him because there is someone who wants to kill him. The gypsy woman, Umm Samira, tells Ezzat that Suleiman wants to kill him. As Samiha passes her exams, she travels to Egypt to go to college.

Desouki goes mad. As Ezzat succeeds in college, Hamed tries to convince him to propose to Samiha, but he refuses, as he wants Samiha to put her memories with Abdel Moneim behind her first. Saadia is surprised when Suleiman gets close to her after Saber's death.

The head watchman plots with Abbas to rob Suleiman. Saadia complains about the intrusion of the head watchman on her. Imtithal asks Saadia to drive a wedge between Ezzat and Samiha and separate them for her gain. Suleiman refuses the marriage of Samiha and Ezzat.

Imtithal's father tells Ezzat's grandmother of Suleiman's intent to kill Ezzat. The head watchman plots with Jaber to kill Ezzat. As the marriage ceremony of Ezzat and Samiha is held, the head watchman shoots Suleiman by mistake.
