Two Bahraini families living in one neighborhood in the early 1980s, one Shia; Abu Ali and the other is Sneh; Abo Jassim. When Abu Ali dies, Abo Jassim marries his widow and the kids of both families live together. But conflict arises when children grow up, and Ali becomes a hard-line Shiite, and Jassim is a strict Sunni.
