A catastrophic war ends all forms of civilization on Earth. In the aftermath darkness, ignorance and chaos prevail. Eli, a former businessman, retains his upright principles and becomes a figure that fights for justice. At some point he is entrusted with the task of carrying a book that holds the secrets of civilization and thus becomes the guardian of mankind’s future.
