Frank Detumilo, a zoo guard, is the father of a beautiful girl named Shane. A germ sneaks into Frank's body. Osmosis Jones is guarding Frank, in a group of white blood cells. Jones discovers that the effect of the bacterium on Frank leads to death, after being infected with a deadly virus known as Thrax. The Thrax virus makes a tight plan to kill Frank, while Jones tries to save Frank's life.
