Desperate to make a film to save his failing production company, Bowfinger manages to secure a distributor for the film, but only if he gets Kit Ramsey to star. When he is unable to convince Kit to join his movie, Bowfinger resolves to film Kit without his knowledge and use the footage for the movie.
