As Ashraf gets transferred to the hospital after he passes out, it's revealed to be a trick to enable his departure from the ranch. Jamal quarrels with his son, Marwan, over the latter's relationship with Sally.
Fearing for his position, Jamal threatens his son Marwan. In the present, Fou'ad takes Jamal's case. In a flashback, Ashraf agrees to go to Iraq to work with Jamal in the Iraqi branch.
Jalal forces his daughter to don a niqab (veil). The writer, Yousef Shawky gets arrested, along with Jamal's son Mo'taz, as they distribute an anti-government book. When Mo'taz gets released, Jamal asks him to cut off ties with Yousef.
Sally's mother asks Sally to seduce Marwan into marrying her. When Aliaa, one of the contestants in the channel's competition, faces car trouble, Marwan offers her a ride. Jalal's daughter tells her father that she will don a hijab if he lets her work with him at the company.
As Jassem tries to build a residential compound in Cairo, he asks Samir Raslan to partner up with him. Jamal divorces Hayam Sandal.
Baraka advises Jamal not to run for elections in order to avoid making new enemies. When Fathy visits Jamal in Nadia's house, he ends up extorting him.
As Jamal weds Aisha, he asks her to keep it a secret. Jamal sends a guy to attack Fathy. Ashraf returns from Iraq after he concludes his mission. Jamal gives Marwan a CD with dirt on Sally.
Fathy supports Abu Al-Ma'aty, the religious sect's candidate, against Jamal. Reem tries to get close to Ashraf. Nadia's mother passes away.
As Fathy tells Jamal's mother that Jamal has married his sister, who has gotten pregnant, she rebukes him for hiding the news of his marriage to Hayam. Jamal's trial continues.
Atiat informs Jalal that Mawarn has assaulted her before running away. Jamal asks the National Party official to facilitate his ownership of a piece of land owned by the government. Ashraf hints to Reem that he knows about her marriage to Hesham.
Jamal, Marwan, and Mo'taz go looking for Jalila. Fathy accuses Jamal of killing Hayam. Hassan tells the court that Jamal has threatened to kill him.
Jamal enlists Ref'at's help to have the charges of killing Hayam dropped. Hassan launches a campaign for Fathy against Jamal. As Hesham exposes Yasser and Jassem's plot, Hesham gets in a serious accident.
As everyone tries to hide the news about Hesham's accident from Jamal, he eventually finds out and vows revenge on Jassem. Sally tries to bring Jalal down.
Hesham dies in the hospital. Jamal wins the elections. Jalal opposes Ashraf's hiring at the company. Nouran thinks about buying an apartment in Egypt.
As Maged pursues Nouran, he threatens her and denies that he divorced her. The doctor informs Nadia that her childbearing chances are low. Jamal asks Ashraf to drive a wedge between Mo'taz and Sherine.
Mostafa weds Nashwa. Jamal is shocked when he learns that his business manager, Rogeh, is Nouran's husband. Mostafa divorces Fatma after she learns about his marriage. Jassem enlists Zakaria's help to win Nouran over.
As Jamal proposes to Nouran, she asks for some time to think it over. Ashraf promises to get rid of Ref'at for Jamal. Ref'at gets removed from his position.

As Jamal visits Yousry to ask for Aliaa's hand for Marwan, they agree on a date for the wedding. As Ashraf confesses his love for Dina at the hospital, he forces Maged to divorce Nouran by threatening to frame him for drug charges.
When Jassem offers for Reem to work for him, she stipulates that they must get married first. Jamal decides to leave the country. Reem tells Ashraf about everything that happened between her and Jassem.
The director stipulates that Sally must leave Jalal and take off the hijab to allow her to act. Fathy offers Jassem's support to Abu Al-Ma'aty as he gears up to compete against Jamal in the parliamentary elections.
As Jalal's mother orders him to take his wife back, she tells Fatma that she will not allow her to remarry. Ashraf warns Jamal against Ibrahim Abu Al-Ezz. Fatma asks to work with Ashraf.
Mohamed tries to convince Nadia to separate from Jamal and return to him. As Jamal suffers from a heart attack, he wakes up in the ICU. Jalal takes charge of the company in Jamal's absence.
Jassem asks Zakaria to bring Nouran back to his mansion. In a flashback, Nouran enlists Jamal's help to protect her from Jassem. Ashraf proposes to Dina. Nader gives the contract to Jalal.
Jamal discovers that his brother is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood. As Ashraf disappears, Dina breaks down and recounts what Jalal did to her and Ashraf. Fathy and Hassan blackmail Jamal using scandalous pictures of his wife. Nadia denies Jalal's involvement in Nouran's murder.
Jamal asks Major General Ashraf to hide the news about Jalal's connection to the Muslim Brotherhood. Mo'taz insists on marrying Sherine. Ashraf marries Dina. The defense accuses Jassem of killing Nouran.
Jamal decides to go to London to meet Nouran. Jamal is removed from the nomination list for the Ministry of Housing. Fatma starts her job as Jalal's replacement. Jassem decides to launch satellite channels in London.
As Jalal manages to capture Yasser in London, the latter confesses that Zakaria and Jassem set up Hesham's accident. Ashraf asserts that Jamal broke up with Nouran three days before she was murdered.
Two days before the accident, Reem confesses that she is married to Jassem and that she spied on Jamal for him. Zakaria gets killed after he kills Nouran in her London apartment. Yasser denies having anything to do with the incident. Ashraf and Jamal are acquitted.
