Jonas is a deceptive faith healer who leads people into believing he can do miracles. After his truck breaks down in the small town of Rustwater while he is on tour, Jonas decides to host a show there. When Sheriff Will Braverman begins to have doubts about this man, he tries to stop the residents from falling for his lies and following his instructions.
