Carlito is sentenced five years in prison. Later on he repents his crimes and becomes a straight person, but everyone around him tries to get him back to break the law. Among those are his nephew who commits a crime and asks him to cover it up, as well as a group of gangsters who believe he murdered their leader, and are trying to take revenge on him. He must take care of all those troubles before starting a new life.
