With things looking up for the sophomore Scott McCall, a late-night foray into the woods puts everything on the line when Scott gets attacked and bitten by a wolf.

With pressure mounting on Scott in light of the upcoming lacrosse game, he soon discovers that his werewolf powers have another trigger that he did not account for.

Scott is forced to strike a bargain with Derek after a horrific dream turns out to be a real incident, prompting Scott to look for a way to control his powers.

When Allison's aunt shoots Derek with a bullet that puts his life on the line, Scott and Stiles must figure out a way to save him before it's too late.

As the town gets swarmed with werewolf hunters, Allison receives advice to learn more about her family history.

Jackson makes a move as he starts to feel the effects of being scratched. Scott enlists Stiles's help to control his rage enough to be able to be near Allison.
