Elwan waits for Qasim to return from abroad to marry his daughter. Hassani and Anan meet secretly at her house, and Jamal asks the imam of the mosque to host him at his house.

Bahija loves Hazem, and the Iraqi authorities order that Ghalib be monitored due to his interest in politics. Malika tries to convince her husband, Marhoon, to work with the British, and Jamal decides to travel to Syria.

Malika discovers that there is blood on Najib's clothes. Sadoun hides the fact that the doctor who works in his clinic is of German nationality. As Marhoon proposes to Najib that he marry Elwan's daughter, he begins his work in the English camp.

Qadri interrogates Ghalib according to the reports Walid submitted against him. Arif is surprised that Hassani is mistakenly arrested as one of the suspects. Marhoon hides from everyone his work in the English camp.

The mukhtar discovers that Marhoon works as a cleaner in the English camp, while Saeed takes advantage of his wife's absence from home and steals her money. Saadoun is surprised that Dr. Max is hosting a woman of Turkish origin named Elena.

Hassani and Anan steal English products with the help of Arif. Saadoun rents a room for Elena in Marhoon's house. The secret police search for Elena because she is a German spy, and Hazem is arrested.

Najib monitors Elena, whom Malika helps by teaching her the Arabic language. Bahija asks Najib to mediate and help with corresponding with Hazem, taking advantage of his work. After Hazem is released, Bahija takes him to the hospital due to his deteriorating condition.

Marhoon is surprised by the issuance of a decision prohibiting renting homes to foreigners. Anan agrees with Elwan to transport goods to his house. Najib's attempt to attack Elena fails, and Max kills Nasri.

Malika tries to convince Elena to marry Najib. Bahija leaves her job at the nightclub. Max suggests to Najib that he forge Iraqi papers for Elena so he can marry her. Saadoun suspects Max of killing Nasri.

Najib asks Bahija to help him arrange forged official papers for Elena thanks to her connections. Max suspects Saadoun of spying on him. Anan asks Arif to get rid of Tayea. Bahija is surprised by Hazem's disappearance from the hospital.

Najib arranges official Iraqi papers for Elena under the name "Laila", after which he marries Laila in court. Saadoun is surprised by Hans' attempt to kill Max. Hazem tries to convince his father to let him marry Bahija.

A curfew is imposed due to youth demonstrations demanding the overthrow of the government. Najib is forced to kill Ghalib for revealing the truth about his work in the secret police.

Saadoun discovers that Max is planning to kill Hans; Hazem's father asks Bahija to stop trying to see his son; Elwan is arrested for possession of stolen goods; Saadiya is surprised by Qasim's letter informing them of his marriage to a Turkish woman.

Elwan is released thanks to Hassani's testimony; Marhoon asks Najib to look for another house away from his own; Max tries to convince Saadoun to travel with him to Germany; Anan is arrested, and Hans shoots Max and Saadoun.

Laila is surprised that Max was killed and Saadoun was taken to the hospital. As Najib discovers Elena's German identity, they both escape. Saadoun testifies to the police and Marhoon is surprised that Elena is a German spy.

The police interrogate Marhoon for renting a room to Elena, who dies as a result of a police gunshot. Najib is arrested, while Hazem dies in Bahija’s arms.
