When Abu Seree' retires, he buys a piece of land and cultivates it. Lofty goes to college. As Edrous gets his men to kill Zahrab Abu Taqia, his wife Fahima overhears him and rebukes him for the path he is on. Abdel Hamid meets Qamar, who is lame.

Edrous hits Zidane and throws him out because of Nawa'em. Nabawy tells Abu Seree' that Edrous stole the money he gave him. Abu Seree' takes the shot meant for Edrous. Fahima asks Edrous to give Nabawy's money back to him. Wagdy vows revenge on Edrous.

Roqaia asks Edrous to assign men to guard her. After Zardak beats Ewis, he goes to ask for Nabawiya's hand. Edrous's father dies, which prompts his siblings to ask for their share in the inheritance. Abdel Hamid proposes to Qamar. Nahed asks Lotfy to tutor her in Arabic.

As Edrous's tyranny spreads, the people seek refuge in the house of Abu Seree', whom they entrust with their money for safekeeping. Wahiba wants her share in her father's inheritance. Lotfy's father rents an apartment for him and his college classmates.

Mourad and Aziza sell their shares in the inheritance to Edrous, but Wahiba refuses to follow suit. Edrous asks to wed Nawa'em in secret because he wants to have a boy. When Zardak catches Nabawiya as she tries to run away with Ewis, he locks Ewis up and brings Nabawiya back to marry her.

When Lotfy graduates from college. Abu Seree' asks Wagdy to help him get a job in a bank. The villagers continue to entrust their money to Abu Seree'. Aziza sells her share of the inheritance to Edrous. Mourad runs out of money. Wahiba gets a court order to receive her 40 acres of land.

When Lotfy goes to Shaker, he confronts him about his secret marriage, which makes Shaker hire him as his office manager. Edrous decides on a monthly salary for Mourad. Lotfy tells Abu Seree' that he wants to wed Sa'deya, Edrous's daughter.

Edrous denies stealing Wahiba's money. Wahiba refuses to sell her land to Edrous. Edrous agrees to wed Sa'deya to Lotfy but asks for 20 thousand pounds as dowry. Nahed is saddened that Lotfy is getting married, since she is in love with him.

As Abu Seree' asks to buy Wagdy's land, he overhears Edrous asking his men to kill Sa'fan if he refuses to sell him his land. Abu Seree' takes the villagers' money flees to Cairo. Nawa'em gives Edrous another son. Edrous perpetuates a rumor that he kidnapped Abu Seree' and Salma.

As Sa'fan survives the murder attempt, one of Edrous's men confesses that Edrous is the one who sent them. Roqaia asks Lotfy to help her take out a loan to build a factory, and offers to have him as her partner. Nahed weds Ashraf.

Zanouba advises Mourad to rob Edrous's safe and leave the money with her. Edrous escapes from the police. Roqaia makes Lotfy the factory's manager. Abu Seree' seeks to buy a piece of land. Nabawiya is saddened because there is no news about Ewis.

Abdel Fatah reports Ewis missing and accuses Edrous's gang of being behind it. Wahiba gets Mourad and Aziza to sue to prove the land's selling contract is invalid. Nahed is saddened that Ashraf has started drinking again. The villagers ask Wagdy to retrieve their money from Abu Seree'.

Edrous is saddened that Zardak was sentenced to death. Sueliman refuses to kill Ewis. It's revealed that the burnt body isn't Edrous's. Abu Seree' enlists Lotfy's help to take out a loan. Roqaia falls for Lotfy.

Roqaia fires Ashraf for Lotfy's sake. Nahed gives her jewlery to Ashraf so that he could use it for work, but he returns to gambling and drinking. Lotfy asks Abu Seree' for a commission in order to facilitate his loan. Nawa'em visits Fahima with her sons and informs her that they are Edrous's.

Lotfy lies to Sa'deya about his need for half a million pounds to avoid going to prison. When Sa'deya asks Fahima for her inheritance, she learns about Edrous's marriage. Zidane looks for Edrous. Lotfy proposes to Roqaia. The police arrest Ashraf in Bisa's house.

Lotfy divorces Sa'deya after he sells her jewelry and the apartment. As Wahiba, Aziza, and Mourad demand their inheritance, Fahima tells them about Edrous's marriage and sons. Abdel Hamid asks Zidane for a gun to take revenge on Abu Seree' after Qamar refuses to wed him.

Lotfy weds Roqaia. Edrous takes money from Abu Seree'. When Nawa'em's landlord rents her apartment, she is forced to wed Zidane so that he could take revenge on Fahima. Abu Seree' kicks out Abdel Fatah and denies that he took any money from him or his companions.

When Edrous calls Abu Seree' to pick up the rest of the money he asked for, the latter reports him to the police. The lawyer assures Fahima and Mourad that the latter will be the custodian of Nawa'em's boys. Abdel Hamid shoots Abu Seree'.

Abdel Hamid confesses to killing Abu Seree'. As Salma returns home and gives people their money, she defends Abdel Hamid in court. Fahima's brother asks her to leave Edrous's house and return to her father's house. Edrous goes to Mourad and Fahima and tells them to wed each other.

The police arrest Nawa'em and Zidane. Edrous dies. Fahima weds Mourad. Adel gets engaged to Nahed. Lotfy and Roqaia are arrested. Abdel Hamid is released from prison. The secret of Ze'eit is revealed.
