The watchman, Khalil, suggests on Zahran that someone partner up with him on his business, and that he opens a small shop for Sobhi to sell products. Mabrouka asks her husband, Hamed, to buy her a TV and many other requests that burden him.

Mabrouka asks her husband, Hamed, to go to the cinema and take a walk with him. Meanwhile, Zahran tells Sobhi about his desire to buy a VCR and movie VHS tapes for the people of the village. Hamed's father resents his son for neglecting his land and staying up late.

After Hamed is surprised that his son is also asking for a TV, same as what happened in all the peasants' homes, Hamed tells his father that he wants to travel and work in Cairo so that he can fulfill the demands of his wife, Mabrouka. Zahran opens a shop selling various electrical appliances.

The police discover that El Beltagy has started distributing counterfeit foreign currency through Hamed. While the murder of Zahran is being investigated, Sobhi takes over his business. Hamed begins to prepare for a new mission for El Beltagy.

Finale

The police manage to arrest El Beltagy and the mob boss in the act of smuggling. It is revealed that Marzouk and Nasser, the laundryman, are police officers who were planted to deceive El Beltagy to bring down the rest of the gang. Hamed returns with his wife and children to his land and farming.
