The story of the children of a bed-ridden mother; siblings who are radically different from one another. Saleh doesn't want his sister to go out into society. He gets mad when she goes to a party without his permission and meets a businessman who likes her.
Mostafa catches feelings for Latifa. Upon his return from Paris, Rashid's siblings meet him welcomingly. Saleh starts a job at a private company to support his family, while he looks for a job at a mechanic workshop for his younger brother.
Fatema thanks the businessman for the gift he brought her and she agrees to meet him. Meanwhile, Rashid tries to woo the girl he met on the ship in order to get her money.
Latifa is shocked when her money is stolen. Fatema tries to lure Latifa into sleeping with someone. As Saleh invites a friend over for lunch, Latifa likes the guest. Rashid gambles and loses his money. Meanwhile, Yehia learns how to steal like a pro.
Latifa is saddened when Saleh's friend proposes to Fatema instead. Fatema rejects Saleh's friend and later learns that she's pregnant. Latifa threatens Fatema to reveal to Saleh that she has been getting gifts. Rashid tries to lure another girl.
Fatema tells her friend that she's pregnant. On her way back home, Fatema is raped. Yehia becomes a thief and joins a dangerous gang. Saleh learns that his sweetheart got into a relationship with his wealthy colleague.
Saleh quarrels with his colleague for stealing an important document. Fatema leaves the hospital after she aborts. Rashid's attempt to lure a new girl is thwarted when her cousin reveals to her that he is a fraud.
Latifa learns that Rashid stole her money. Her mother passes away. When Saleh learns that his young brother is accused of stealing cars, he beats him, prompting him to commit suicide but Latifa saves him. Rashid tries to get closer to Fatema's friend.
Saleh starts a business selling sheep, while Rashid works with Fatema's friend and gets to meet a businessman, his wife, and their daughter whom Rashid grows infatuated with. When Saleh proposes to their neighbor, her mother rejects him.
Rashid starts working at the hotel and tries to get information about Sy Al-Ghoul, the owner of the hotel, as he saves his sick wife. Fatema marries Saleh's workmate, while Yehia immigrates to Italy on a boat.
Rashid gets closer to Al-Ghoul's wife, and she grants him favorable powers in the hotel. Saleh marries Kamilia, but his happy life takes a turn when he learns that Rashid sold their land. In his defense, Rashid says he sold the land to build a hotel for the siblings.
When Fatema quarrels with Al-Hady, he kicks her and her daughter out. Al-Hady quarrels with Latifa for not telling him about Fatema's relationship with Tawfik. On Al-Ghoul's orders, Faten tries to ingratiate herself with Rashid.
The construction of the hotel starts. As Fatema feigns illness, Rashid tries to help her. Saleh quarrels with a neighbor at the village and shoots him. Fatema learns the truth of the person who told her husband about Tawfik.
Tawfik is arrested when Fatema reports him to the police. The younger brother dies in Italy. Faten lies to Rashid about needing the money for a surgery. Rashid tries to rob Galila, and she is in utter shock when she sees him. Rashid learns the truth of Faten and Al-Ghoul's foul scheme.
