Hassouna is a single man in his thirties who works in his father's shop. Hassouna goes with his parents to propose to a girl, but they find many men there. When Osman asks who they are, the girl’s father tells him that they are his daughter’s friends, so Osman refuses to marry his son to the girl.

When Hassouna proposes to a girl from a prestigious family, they stipulate costly conditions, but Hassouna's father agrees against his will. On the day of the engagement, Hassouna and his fiancée are stuck in the elevator, the two families quarrel, and Hassouna decides to break off the engagement.

When Hassouna's mother suggests that he marry Mofida, he proposes to her and her family agrees. When they go out one time, a woman shouts at Hassouna and says that he's her husband and the father of her son. When Mofida's father sees what happened, he calls off the engagement.

When Hassouna proposes to a girl who works as a police officer, she tells him that she agrees to marry him only if he's a boxing champion. Hassouna agrees with a boxing player to let him win in a match, but the plan goes haywire and the girl refuses to marry him.

Hassouna searches for a bride in the newspapers until he finds one and proposes to her. He knows that she was married to a man who looks like him, but when he finds out that she has daughters, he changes his mind.

Hassouna dreams that there is a French girl named Jacqueline who came to visit his family, his father asks him to propose to her and he agrees in spite of coming from a different culture. He wakes up from the dream next to his mother.

When Osman sends Hassouna to take the rent from the woman who rents an apartment, she tries to get close to him. He ends up borrowing money and buying her gold; Osman is shocked when he finds out.

Hassouna's mother goes to the fortune teller to help her son get married. He sends a woman named Mabrouka to Hassouna and she tells him that she's his bride. She stays over and ends up stealing the gold.

As Osman agrees with Hassouna to marry Darsaf, his mother plans with him to marry Sanyia. He agrees to both brides in order not to upset them. On the day of the wedding, when he's asked to choose between the two brides, he loses his mind.

When Hassouna participates in a TV program, he loses in the competition to a girl. His father decides to make the girl give him lessons; Hassouna and the girl fall in love. When the girl asks Osman to marry his son, he agrees in astonishment.
