When Rashid's father decides to distribute his money among his children, he leaves Sedra, who is a special needs child, the greater share. Rashid starts a new project with his friend Abdel Qader. Youssef works in a disability center and he wonders why Samira never talks about her children.

Ahmed's mother refuses his marriage to Salma after leaning of Sedra's situation. Soliman cheats on his wife with a Tunisian girl called Qamar. Abdel Qader tells his boss that he and Rashid are planning for a new project.

When Sedra falls ill and is rushed to the hospital, the doctors suspect that the reason for her illness is that her family mistreats her. When Rashid arrives late for the meeting with Abdel Qader, the latter's boss cancels their deal. Nasser attempts to kill Ahmed after a dispute over money.

Abu Rashid (Rashid's father) wants to take Sedra to his mother's place to hide her. Soliman sees his wife Laila at the same restaurant where he meets his mistress Qamar. When his rival's lawyer tells Ali that a lawsuit has been filed against him, Ali kicks him out.

Sedra's family decides to get her into a disability center. Soliman tells Qamar he will travel with her to ask for her hand in marriage, and Ali reminds him that he needs to divorce his wife first.

Rashid and his father leave Sedra in front of the disability center. Ahmed runs Soliman over. Ali tells Laila they cannot be together until she gets a divorce. Umm Rashid (Rashid's mother) is transferred to the same hospital where Sedra is.

Ali arranges for Qamar and Laila to meet and tells Laila that Qamar is Soliman's fiancée. Samira tells Youssef that she is the one who took Sedra to the hospital. Rashid tells his father that their maid Natasha must travel back to her homeland to avoid any scandal.

Ahmed asks his mother for money for the new project. Laila asks for a divorce but her father disapproves of her wish. Natasha runs away before she is sent back home. The doctor tells Qamar and Ali that Youssef might actually go blind.

Ahmed and Nasser both become drug addicts. Natasha returns to the maid-services firm after she runs away, and they call Abu Rashid to inform him they have her. Youssef tells his father that Laila refuses to go to the hospital to see her husband.

Samira decides to take Sedra home and look after her, while Youssef suggests reporting the incident to the police. At the hospital, Youssef quarrels with Ali for taking another wife. Rashid tells his sister that he is looking for Abdel Qader but can't find him.

The kingpin of the gang asks Abdel Qader to disappear for a while so Rashid won't locate him. Abu Rashid is shocked when the police start an investigation into the incident of him leaving Sedra at the disability center. Ahmed asks Nasser to stay away from him and consult a psychiatrist.

Laila advises Youssef to confess his true feelings for Samira. The doctor tells Youssef and his father that Soliman has gone blind in one eye, the thing that encourages Laila to get back together with him.

Upon learning that Soliman has gone blind, Qamar leaves him. Soliman decides to divorce Laila. Umm Rashid learns that Sedra is at a disability center. Ahmed relapses and does drugs once more.

Ali blackmails Qamar with the photos he has of her to force her into marrying Soliman. Rashid visits Sedra at the center without revealing his true identity. Abu Youssef (Youssef's father) and his sister resort to sorcery and charlatanism to get Soliman to get back together with Laila.

Rashid learns that Abdel Qader is a fraud. Natasha sees Sedra and Samira at the mall. Ali looks for his father Ragab to atone for his past and for putting him in a house for the elderly. Soliman decides not to divorce Laila.

Laila refuses to get back together with Soliman. Ragab's sister warns him that his son is looking for him. Ahmed robs his mother and gets a copy of her keys. Nasser frames Ragab for poisoning the child Qays at the disability center.

Ragab refuses to report his son Ali to the police. Nasser promises to help Qamar with her problem with Ali. Ali asks his uncle Abu Sa'ad (Sa'ad's father) to help him get married.

Samira berates Nasser for insulting Uncle Ragab, and Ragab tells her that he has a son called Ali. Abu Rashid regrets losing Sedra, and his son tells him that Abdel Qader is a fraud.

Ragab recounts to Youssef the story of how Samira's parents drowned at sea. When Ali proposes to Laila, her father rejects him because she is still married to Soliman.

Abdel Qader accuses his boss of being the reason he was reported to the police. Meanwhile, Soliman tries to get back with Laila. Abu Sa'ad tells Ragab that Ali is looking for him. Rashid takes his parents to see Sedra from afar.

Sedra wins a huge prize. Nasser decides to get rid of Abdel Qader by drugging him. Ahmed's mother learns that her son stole her jewelry. Youssef's aunt turns to charlatanism to manipulate him.

The bank manager refuses to entrust Abu Rashid with Sedra's prize and says she must receive the money herself. A journalist learns from Umm Sa'ad (Sa'ad's mother) that Abu Rashid doesn't have a young daughter called Sedra. Ragab refuses to leave the center. Youssef's cousin is hospitalized.

Abu Rashid decides to abduct his daughter from the center to get the prize. Youssef's father urges him to marry his cousin, much to Samira's distress. Ahmed's mother learns that he had been dismissed from work months ago.

Ali insists on taking his father from the center, and Samira threatens to call the cops. Rashid and his father try to kidnap Sedra from the center, but they fail and Sedra falls ill and is rushed to the hospital. Nasser finds a huge sum of money in Abdel Qader's bag.

Salma is mad about her parents' decision to bring Sedra back home. Youssef tells Samira that the people who tried to kidnap Sedra are people the child knows. Youssef's father still insists that Youssef must marry his cousin, not Samira.

Umm Sa'ad quarrels with Ali and warns him against coming close to Ragab ever again. Youssef's father learns that his niece, whom he wanted to wed Youssef, has a contagious disease. Abdel Qader tells Nasser that his money was stolen.

Umm Ahmed (Ahmed's mother) tells her son that she chose a fiancée for him. Ahmed asks Nasser for narcotic pills. The bank manager tells Abu Rashid that Sedra must be with them to get the prize. Youssef decides to tell Samira he loves her.

Ahmed overdoses and passes away consequently, and Nasser abandons him in the street. Sedra's necklace slips from his hand and falls next to Ahmed's dead body. Nasser keeps the bag with the money at Qamar's. Youssef wants to propose to Samira.

Natasha recognizes Sedra at Samira's house. Abu Rashid kidnaps Sedra. Ali gets injured and is rushed to the hospital and he feels remorseful for what he did to his father. Ahmed's mother goes mad following her son's death. Abdel Qader is arrested.

Ali begs for his father's forgiveness. Abu Rashid confesses that he gave up on his daughter Sedra because he couldn't handle people's deprecating looks. Samira accepts to marry Youssef. Ragab passes away.
