As Tara Crossley moves to Evermoor, a village of the English countryside, she soon learns that country life is anything but quiet. The family house has a strange tapestry that can foretell the future, and it reports to the family that their spooky house is soon to be destroyed by fire.

While Tara and Seb are busy investigating what started the fire at the house, they find out a lead suggesting that Aunt Bridget may have been poisoned.

Tara decides to do what it takes to find out how the Everines, the tapestry, gets its power to predict the future, and she is ready to go to great lengths just to discern the mystery.

As Tara starts her investigation into what started the fire, an unpleasant surprise awaits her as her family members disappear one by one, leaving Tara to consider an offer proposed by the Founding Everines, as it becomes known they have long controlled the fate of humans.

As Tara manages to save herself and her family, she faces another threat when Esmerelda gets close to learning that Tara is actually the Supreme Everine. Tara manages to shift the suspicions unto Bella, who is swallowed whole when she is asked to weave a tapestry.

A plunge into the past reveals the days when Everine was a trainee and how she could escape the tapestry with a fatal disease and a strong grudge on the Everines.

A horrifying night falls as Tara reveals to Cameron that she is the Supreme Everine and offers to reunite him with his mother. However, things take a turn when a mistake results in Cameron being transformed into a tree.

When Tara finally finds her teddy bear, Drifty, its golden threads send the villagers into sleep, but she believes this is her only shot at saving Cameron. Tara soon realizes whom her true rivals are.

Tara devises a plot to pull her fictional self with magical powers from the tapestry just to defeat Bridget, but what she creates is mayhem. Things take a downward spiral when Bridget makes a pact with the Founder Everines.

As Bridget casts a spell on Tara and the village, she hypnotizes them into a dream-like version of Evermoor, while Otto tries to figure whether he can get Tara to wake up and confront Bridget.

When Tara resorts to forbidden magic to bring Cameron back to life, she is shocked when he becomes half-human half-tree. Meanwhile, two of the three Founders vow revenge on Tara.

To teach Bella a lesson on the cost of lying, Esmerelda forces her to take an exam to show whether she is the Supreme Everine. When the girls need Bridget, she falls into a dilemma as she cannot help them without The Founders capturing her.

Tara decides to ditch the world of magic and get back to her life as a schoolgirl, but as The Founders pose a new challenge in the form of a fearsome spider, all plans to abandon magic are thrown out the window.

As Tara's watch gets covered in magic black thread, it grants her the ability to go back in time and alter the course of events, but things only get worse as she tries to undo past mistakes.

When the tapestry is vandalized, attempts are made to protect it, but since it's prom night, such a procedure becomes difficult to do.

When the tapestry is stolen, Tara becomes the scapegoat. Meanwhile, members of the Circle expel Sorsha, while a tragic fate awaits Otto.

As Otto is turned into a statuette and the only way to bring him back to life is a true love's kiss, Tara tries to get Valentina, the demi-goddess of love who just happens to be Otto's vengeful ex-girlfriend, to kiss Otto. Meanwhile, Lacie and Esmerelda search for the third fated villager.

Tara is worried that The Founders might take Bella. Meanwhile, as Sorsha makes some worry-no-more dolls, they send Tara crazy, while Bella stays alone.

When Bella is turned into a statuette, Tara's only shot at saving her is through using Otto's feather to impersonate Bella. Tara then tries to get Cameron to love Bella. Believing that Sorsha can bring them back their sister, the two Founders try to find her.

With the third Founder on the loose, her love for Seb saves Sorsha, prompting Lacie and Esmerelda to use a bait to drive Seb away from Sorsha so that the Founder can take over her.

As the Hollowfall rises, it goes in the legends of Evermoor that a champion must venture there, and Seb decides to take up the challenge in order to impress Sorsha. Tara and Otto try to keep Seb and Sorsha together to protect her against the Founder.

Tara makes a promise to Esmerelda and Lacie to get Seb and Sorsha to break up in order to facilitate the Founder's takeover of Sorsha's body.

When a curse is cast upon Evermoor, the only way to break the spell is through solving a puzzle that Otto's father gave him.

As the battle for Evermoor reaches a climax, the only hope left for the village is for the Princess of Hollowfall, Agatha, to rise. As Tara regains her powers, she fiercely fights against the Founders to save Evermoor from sinking into chaos.
