As the owner of a contracting company dies, he leaves the company to his four daughters. Abu Tarek (Tarek's father), Samar, and Tarek plot to seize control of the company. Despite Marwan's warning, the eldest daughter, Sima, decides to appoint Abu Tarek as the company's general manager.

Sima thinks about the green file that her father gave her. Marwan tells Sima that Abu Tarek fired the accountant, Shady. The lawyer tells Sima and her sisters that her father left Sima as the sole owner of his money and property, but the inheritance will be divided if Sima gets married and has a son.

As Sima goes to the company, she loses her temper with Abu Tarek and tells him that she is the company's owner, ordering him not to make any decisions without consulting her. Samar advises Tarek and Abu Tarek to have Zaid get close to Sima so that he could marry her.

Abu Tarek sends Farid to steal the green file, but he is unable to find it. Maha wipes the surveillance footage, telling Marwan and Sima that an error caused the cameras to stop recording. Zaid refuses to listen to Tarek and get close to Sima.

Yara sleeps with Tarek. As Sima puts Marwan in charge of the company keys, she offers to buy Abu Tarek's shares. Dina asks Zaid to get close to Sima for money. But when Sima refuses to speak to Zaid, Tarek thinks about getting Alaa to try instead.

Yara offers to give Tarek money to buy a house for them to marry. Aya calls Sima a thief after she asks her about the profits from the sports club. Sima talks to Marwan about getting bodyguards before she puts him in charge of all the projects, getting him to install a camera in Abu Tarek's office

Abu Tarek initially refuses to have a camera installed in his house before he eventually agrees. Hossam tries to get Fadwa to reveal the identity of his father. Abu Tarek asks Farid to get rid of Sima's guards. Samar confronts Abu Tarek about killing someone at her house.

Yara gives Tarek money. Abu Tarek shares his concern about Sima's halting of two major projects with Maha. Maha asks Abu Tarek to buy her a car and put the house in her name. Abu Tarek denies taking the file of last year's expenses from Shady.

Zaid refuses Dina's suggestion to sell the house. Sima meets Lara's friend, Hossam, when Lara invites him over. Yara refuses to give Sima money to fund the projects, even though Lara and Aya have agreed. Sima hires Kamel at the company.

When Yara informs Tarek that she is pregnant, he gives her a choice between marriage and abortion. Yara asks Sima not to follow the will that strips her of her inheritance in case of marriage. When Sima refuses, Yara agrees to abort the baby.

As Yara has the abortion, Tarek takes her home and lies to Sima, claiming that Yara tried to kill herself. Sima questions Abu Tarek about how they lost three projects to another company. When Sima threatens Maha to force her to talk, Maha reveals that she was married to Sima's father.

Sima tells her sisters that Maha claims to have been their step-mother. When Abu Tarek learns of Maha's lie, he decides to use the situation against Sima. Tarek offers to pose as the witness to the marriage, along with Zaid. Abu Tarek breaks the camera in his office.

Marwan advises Sima to keep an eye on Maha. Maha refuses to accept Sima's decision to fire her. When Sima refuses to give Maha a share of the inheritance, Maha calls the police who force Sima to let Maha keep her job until she provides evidence of her marriage.

Farid lies to Abu Saleh, claiming that the drug deal was a bust since he had to flee the police. Suhaila advises Hossam not to look into his father and Fadwa's past. Sima discovers that Abu Tarek's properties are not in his name.

As Tarek gets Yara to take contraceptives, he talks to Abu Tarek about killing Sima. Sima asks her bodyguard to monitor Abu Tarek's house. Zaid reminds Abu Tarek that he went to prison for him, but was not compensated accordingly.

Abu Tarek is left reeling when Sima takes control of his company shares. As Farid shoots at Sima, Marwan saves her. When Sima's bodyguard sees two men going in to meet Abu Tarek with a bag, Sima inquires about them. Sima learns that Zaid and Tarek were the witnesses to her father's marriage to Maha.

Sima offers to make Marwan a partner in secret. The guard informs Sima that Kamel visited Zaid's house. Dina asks Zaid to write the house over to her. Sima asks Marwan to plant a secret camera in Abu Tarek's office.

Aya gives her money to Layth to rent a shop. Zaid asks Sima to forgive him. When Abu Tarek discovers that Sima's guard is monitoring him, he gets Farid to kill him. Abu Tarek sells his house. Sima provides a monthly stipend to the family of the slain guard, which bothers Yara and Aya.

As Sima kicks Abu Tarek out after she gets control of his properties, she asks Marwan to bring an unfamiliar face to monitor Abu Tarek's house. Zaid writes over half of the house to Dina. As Layth tells Aya that he refuses Sima's offer of money to leave her, she decides to get engaged to him.

Aya threatens Sima. Tarek, Zaid, Kamel, and Dina join forces to battle Sima. Sima gets her guard to call Zaid and tell him that Dina has a visitor, leaving Zaid to catch Dina and Kamel in the bedroom. Tarek tells Zaid to kill Kamel.

As Yara steals a check, the bank calls Sima when Yara tries to cash it, but Sima halts the process. Sima tells Yara to ask Tarek for the money she gave him. Tarek tells Sima that Yara gave him the money because she was scared of Sima, revealing that he wants to marry Sima, not Yara.

Tarek gives back Yara's money but postpones their marriage. Sima gets her guard to monitor Tarek and Yara. When Layth is unable to provide the receipts of the jewelry he was trying to sell, he gets arrested.

The guard warns Sima that Dana has taken pictures of her while meeting Tarek. As she asks the guard to bring Dana to meet her, she confirms that Tarek has been lying. Sima gives Aya the jewelry's receipts to hide the fact that Aya stole them. Marwan confesses his love for Sima.

Sima slaps Aya when she refuses to divulge where she was. Sima learns from Dana that Yara was pregnant but Tarek got her to have an abortion. Abu Tarek asks Farid to kill Zaid, but he only gets shot in the shoulder. Layth agrees to leave Aya in exchange for money.

Zaid accuses Kamel of arranging his shooting. Sima gets Aya to hear Layth's agreement to leave her for money. Tarek tells Aya that Sima is in love with him and wants to marry him. Sima learns from her guard that Abu Tarek went into the house with Maha.

Sima learns that Kamel turned himself in. Layth gives Aya the money and tells her that he is not a sell-out. Samar bears the expenses of Yara and Tarek's marriage in exchange for a promissory note from Yara. Tarek asks Samar to slip drugs into Sima's food. Maha has the company foreclosed.

As Sima is rushed to the hospital, the doctor reveals that she was poisoned. Sima tells Marwan that her sisters are behind the poisoning. Sima confronts Aya about the poison and Yara's abortion. Hossam suffocates his mother. Dina gives the house back to Zaid, who divorces her.

Sima gives Yara a recording that proves that Tarek doesn't love her. When Yara confronts Tarek, he slaps her. Samar demands that Sima pay her the million dollars that Yara took from her. Lara informs Sima that Hossam killed his mother. Sima asks her guard to report Farid and Abu Tarek to the police.

Sima records Zaid's confession that he lied about witnessing her father's marriage to Maha and that Abu Tarek stole a million dollars from her father. Sima gets Yara to call Samar to catch Abu Tarek and Maha. After Abu Tarek kills Samar, he gets arrested. Sima admonishes Lara for visiting Hossam in prison.

Farid admits that Tarek and Abu Tarek incited him to shoot Sima. Abu Tarek's marriage to Maha gets revealed. Sima hires Dana as a secretary to replace Maha. After Marwan saves Sima from Tarek's attempt to kill her, Sima agrees to marry him. Yara, Aya, and Lara refuse to let Sima divide the inheritance.
