Despite his mother's objections, Bassam gets engaged to Reem. Seliman's wife is upset with the way his mother is treating her. Nadia's ex-husband wants her back but she refuses due to his previous mistreatment of her and their girls.
Nadia thanks her colleague Faysal for stopping her ex-husband, but she is shocked to discover that her ex smashed her car at night. Seliman asks his mother to care for his ailing wife.
Gamila tells her husband Ibrahim to try and mend his relationship with his kids. Nadia enlists her former mother-in-law's help to convince her ex to leave her and her daughter alone.
Fawaz is upset with his wife Amal due to her negligence of both their house and their son. Reem is distressed over her colleagues' reaction to her engagement to Bassam. Fawaz's co-worker Hanaa is upset that his behavior has changed.
Nouf tries to distance herself form Reem. Manal goes to see her brothers, but Seliman refuses to see her. Nadia's ex keeps harassing her.
Hanaa tries to approach Fawaz as his wife Amal starts paying attention to him. Seliman's wife wants them to have a separate house from his mother. Seliman asks his father to help him get another house. Bassem and Reem quarrel when she goes out with Nouf without telling him.
Bassem refuses to talk to Reem after their fight. Mahmoud persists in trying to force Nadia to take him back.
Seliman resigns from his job and tries to get a job with his father Ibrahim. Nouf tries to reconcile Bassam and Reem. Faysal falls for Nadia.
Seliman tells his mother that he took a job with his father. Bassam tells Nouf that he likes her. Faysal asks Nadia for her hand in marriage.
When Nouf informs Reem of Bassam's infidelity, Reem breaks off their engagement. Fawaz complains to Amal's father about her negligence. Seliman's wife tells his mother that she is pregnant.
Fawaz proposes to Hanaa. Reem is devastated over her broken engagement to Bassam who wants her back. Reem cuts ties with Nouf.
Bassam enlists his sister Aml's help to win Reem back, as Nouf's brother tries to get close to Manal. Mahmoud and Seif fight when Mahmoud mistakenly believe that Seif is involved with Nadia. Mahmoud dies in an accident.
When their son is transferred to the hospital, Fawaz rebukes Amal for not taking care of him. Manal helps Nouf's brother get a job in her father's company. Seliman's wife gives birth.
A guilty Nadia tries to distance herself from Faysal after Mahmoud's death, but Faysal manages to get to her. Fawaz marries Hanaa. Nouf sets her eyes on Bassam but he rejects her. Fouad warns Manal about her brothers.
Faysal's mother refuses to allow him to marry Nadia. Bassam asks Reem to give him a chance to prove his love for her. Amal discovers that Fawaz took a second wife.
Amal wants a divorce. Fouad tells Gamila that Manal's father gave his grandson Ibrahim a lot of money. Seliman's mother awaits Ibrahim's return.
Wedad asks for Reem's hand in marriage to her son Faysal. Manal tells her mother that she suspects that Fouad wants to take her money.
Despite his initial objections, Faysal eventually submits to his mother's wish to wed him to Reem. Fouad resigns from the company when he learns that Manal distrusts his intentions. Fawaz divorces Amal.
Faysal tells Nadia that he is marrying Reem on his mother's wishes, but she makes him wed her before getting engaged to Reem.
Nouf tells Bassam that Reem got engaged. Bassam vows revenge. Faysal marries Reem.
Both Bassam and Nadia are devastated when Faysal marries Reem. Nadia suffers from a mental breakdown. Fawaz allows his son to live with Amal.
Faysal leaves Reem in the first days of their marriage to make sure Nadia is alright. Manal suspects that Fouad is seeing his secretary.
Fawaz is furious when he learns that Hanaa is pregnant, and blames her for ruining his life and his marriage. Love starts to blossom between Reem and Faysal.

Faysal divorces Nadia. Amal refuses to take Fawaz back even after he divorced Hanaa, and marries Hamad instead. Both Manal and Reem have a baby. Nadia and her mother-in-law open a sweets shop.
