Abdou, a coachman, prevents the theft of the safe of Abu El Nuri, who died, and his brother Abu Hamza accepts condolences. It turns out that the latter has pushed his men to rob the safe and has taken his brother's fingerprint on some papers before his burial.

Abu El Nuri's widow asks Abu Hamza to return the cloak of leadership to her because her family owns it. Abu Hamza decides to marry off his son to Zumuruda forcefully. Shoman kidnaps Abdou's daughter and tries to rape her.

Bodor falsely claims that Abdou's daughter isn't a virgin, so the latter, to clear her name, tells them that she agreed with Shoman to bring her her mother's ring, so Abdou forces her to marry Shoman. Hassan asks his mom to tell everyone about Zumuruda's illness and the canceling of her marriage to Hamza.

Hassan's daughter works as a maid in Doria's house. Mukhtar offers his neighbor to buy her house. Bodor succeeds in curing Zumuruda of her illness, and she asks her to help her run away from the house. Abu Hamza threatens Abdou with harm if he attacks him again.

Abu Hamza asks Haraisi to punish Jarkas for helping Abdou. Nourieh strikes a bargain with Zahra whereby the latter will clean the house in exchange for food. Bodor asks Nuri that they get married and tell Doria about it, but the latter refuses.

As Abdou threatens Abu Salim and asks him to return Belqis' right to her, Abu Salim files a report with the gendarmerie against Abdou, but Hassan asks him to drop it. Nuri asks Doria to marry him off to Bodor.

Bodor asks Badia to stay with her after her return from Lebanon. Mukhtar asks Bodor to convince Latifa to sell her house in exchange for money. Abu Hamza fires Abdou from work and incites Nuri against Hassan.

As Abu Hamza and Hassan quarrel, Doria supports Hassan. Abu Hamza asks Abdou to be his spy in Doria's house in return for making him the Agha of the coachmen, but he refuses. Abu Hamza prevents Abdou from fulfilling Doria's requests, but the latter warns him not to stand in her way.

Umm Hamza informs her husband of Zumuruda's illness, but Abu Hamza insists on completing the marriage and asks Doria to do so, or else he will force Zumuruda to abide by the court's ruling and return to his house. Nourieh improves her relationship with Zahra. Latifa asks Bodor to stay with her.

Belqis tells Abdou that Abu Salim has given her all her rights. Bodor advises Doria to claim that her daughter died so that the wedding does not take place and strikes a bargain with her whereby she helps her in exchange for getting her married to Nuri. Latifa dies, and Bodor takes over the house.

Abdou warns Haraisi against harming Hassan. Bodor brings Latifa's corpse to Doria's house to falsely claim that it is the corpse of Zumuruda, upon which the news of Zumuruda's death spreads, and she gets buried.

Doria kicks Umm Hamza out of the house and asks Abdou to sabotage Zaher's wedding. The governor's assistant tries to patch things up between Abu Hamza and Doria to manage the distribution of wheat.

Doria threatens Abu Hamza that she will grant his competitor the right to sell the wheat if he does not close the caravanserai. Abu Hamza asks Abu Ahmed to mediate with Abu Salim so that he'd agree to his marriage to Belqis. Bodor tells Umm Hamza about Doria's marriage to Nuri.

As Hamza's men beat Hassan and stab him with a knife, Abdou saves him. Doria asks Abdou to agree that his daughter Hosneya get married to Mahmoud, but Abdou refuses.

Bodor bargains with Doria over her daughter in return for her marriage to Nuri, upon which Doria asks Abdou to kill Bodor. Umm Hamza asks for Belqis' hand in marriage to Abu Salim, but she kicks her out of the house.

Abdou informs Bodor that Doria incited him to kill her, but he decides to take revenge on her by falsely claiming that they are having an affair. Bodor returns Zumuruda to her aunt's house.

Doria threatens Shoman with punishment if he does not treat Zahra well, and the latter tries to commit suicide but is saved by Nourieh. Abu Hamza agrees with the one who disposes of the wheat to get rid of Abdou and execute him.

Abu Salim burns Belqis's workshop so that she'd lose her money, and Abu Hamza pays off her debts in order for the police to release her. Warda dies while giving birth. Shaheen tells Abdou that Bodor's father has died in prison and that the governor has decided to pardon the prisoners.

The governor issues a decision to execute Abdou, and Hassan asks Doria to mediate with the governor to pardon him. On the other hand, Abu Hamza seeks to impose the sentence to take revenge on Abdou.

Abu Hamza tries to persuade Belqis to marry Abu Salim. Hamza and Haraisi lie in wait for Abdou to kill him. Abu Hamza expels Abdou from the neighborhood and incites Shoman against Zahra to beat her.

As Zahra quarrels with Shoman, he locks her in and burns the place, so she dies. Abdou kills Shoman and threatens all the neighborhood people that he will take revenge on them for plotting against his daughter. Doria threatens Hosneya with revenge if she does not stay away from Hassan.

Belqis agrees to marry Abu Salim on the condition that he pays off all her debts. Bodor bargains with Badriya over killing Hosneya in return for getting married to Nuri.

Bodor tells Umm Hamza about the latter's husband's relationship with Belqis. Abu Hamza agrees with his son to hand over goods to Abdou and to make an agreement with Haraisi to steal them. Doria asks for the wheat official's daughter's hand in marriage to Hassan.

Abu Hamza tries to carry out the request of the wheat official to collect all the required quantity from the farmers. Abu Hamza grows suspicious that Abu Mansour conveys all the news to Abdou. Mahmoud discovers that Zumuruda is alive.

Belqis claims that she is married to Abdou so that no one will force her to marry Abu Salim, who accuses her of fornication before the judge; however, Abdou marries her to save her.

Bodor tells Doria that she got rid of Hosneya and that she was pregnant. Mansour informs Abdou about Abu Hamza selling the wheat from the warehouse for his personal gain, so Abdou steals the entire shipment. Nuri refuses to marry Bodor.

Abdou threatens Doria with setting fire to the caravanserai if anything happens to his daughter and forces Bodor to tell him where his daughter is. Bodor strikes a bargain with Zumuruda whereby she helps her marry Mahmoud in return for giving her half of her jewelry box.

Hassan confesses to Abdou that he is married to Hosneya and that she is pregnant by him. Abu Hamza asks Abu Ahmed to mediate with Belqis so that she would agree to his marriage to Souad. Bodor tells Abdou that Zumuruda is still alive and that she is in her home.

Abu Hamza asks Subhi to imprison Abdou until he completes his marriage to Souad, but the people of the neighborhood save him. Abu Hamza tells Belqis that the police have arrested Abdou.

Souad marries Abu Hamza, and Hamza kills Belqis by mistake. Abdou distributes wheat to the poor people of the neighborhood, kills Hamza, and leaves his body in Doria's house.
