As an industry is set up around space tourism, the captain of a tourist space ship, Avenue 5, finds himself in an unexpected predicament when an accident sends the ship off-course.

As attempts to bring down the time it would take the ship to reach Earth are conducted, Rav enlists the help of experts from NASA to help bring everyone home.

Tension rises in the ship in light of their bleak prospects. Rav struggles with the weight of the responsibility placed on her shoulders. Judd comes up with a rescue plan that doesn't have the best chances of success.

As Iris steps in to help Judd do damage control before his reputation is tarnished, Ryan's decision to step up to the mantle and connect with the ship's engineers leads to unforeseen consequences.

Ryan takes the credit for saving the ship, even though it was Billie who actually did it. Frank suspects that Ryan has romantic designs on his wife.

As Rav struggles to secure funding for a rescue mission, a new crisis occurs on the ship. An investigation by Ryan and Billie reveals a potentially catastrophic development.

The media turns on Rav after damaging information is leaked about the rescue funds. Judd tries to placate a wealthy passenger with Ryan's help.

Rav deals with the consequences of a hasty decision. A discovery about Ryan leads the passengers to suspect that they are being lied to, prompting several to make a dangerous decision.

Matt's guilt leaves the crew and passengers on their own as they try to come up with a plan to reduce the journey time, but a misunderstanding causes their plan to backfire.
