Kafafy steals files from his manager's office to sell them to his foes. When the manager finds out about it, he refuses to believe that Kafafy has stolen them. Rashad goes to his aunt, hoping she would help him find a job.

Rashad's aunt's past disagreement with her brother makes her refuse to help Rashad. Kafafy tries to persuade her to hire Rashad. Meanwhile, Kafafy plots for a new theft.

Rashad's aunt changes her mind and decides to help him, but she draws her last breath as Abu Ser'ie murders her and robs her house. Rashad is shocked to see his aunt's dead body.

Fearing he might get accused of killing his aunt, Rashad runs away, and some strangers take him in. Sharaf helps Rashad get a job.

Ghanem grows suspicious of Rashad and trouble ensues between the two. Rashad changes his name to Khaled. Abbas, Sharaf's brother, shows up and asks for money.

Sharaf is dead, and Abbas goes to his house to sort things out. He also tries to learn the truth about Khaled before he banishes him from the estate.

Shaker suspects that Khaled is in love with Sanaa and threatens to kill him. Abbas asks Rashad to give him money from the company's budget, and Rashad warns Khayrat against Abbas.

Abbas draws a scheme to marry Khayrat and get her fortune as well as his deceased brother's. Kafafy and Abu Ser'ie search for Rashad to secure he won't expose them.

Abbas tells Khayrat that he loves and wants to wed her. Rashad reveals that Sharaf's will prohibits Sanaa and Shaker's marriage.

Abbas tries to learn more about Rashad's past. Abu Ser'ie enlists Kafafy's help to facilitate a bad fish shipment. Rashad's family ceaselessly looks for him.

Ghanem suspects that Rashad and Sanaa are having an affair. Khayrat accuses Ghanem of stealing her late husband's money. It is decided for Sanaa and Shaker to get married in secret.

Rashad visits Shaker and tries to advise him against wedding Sanaa. Ghanem learns Sanaa's secret. Ghanem attempts to extort Khayrat and Rashad to get money.

Madbouly's attempt to steal Sanaa's birth certificate is thwarted. Abbas learns that Sanaa isn't Sharaf's daughter. Abbas urges Khayrat to get Sanaa to wilfully waive her property to avoid the scandal.

Sanaa learns the truth of her birth, and the lawyer reveals that Sharaf willfully wrote over the house and the factory to Sanaa, regardless of the will. Hence, Ghanem and Abbas's attempts to seize her inheritance are thwarted.

Rashad tells Shaker about his aunt's death, and Shaker suspects it is Kafafy behind her murder. After a long separation, Rashad is reunited with his family.

Madbouly tells Sanaa and Khayrat that what Rashad is running from is his involvement in his aunt's death. Shaker tries to prove Rashad's innocence. Meanwhile, Kafafy tries to get rid of Abu Ser'ie.

When Abu Ser'ie confesses that he and Kafafy killed Rashad's aunt, Rashad is acquitted and he proposes to Sanaa soon after.
