Mansour demands that Mamdouh reveals the location of a box of gold that belongs to Fahmi. Camellia recalls Fahmi's arbitrary expulsion of her father from his factory. As Lt. Col. Khaled investigates Fahmi’s fortune to have it nationalized, he meets Camellia and rejects Mansour’s bribe.

Gone with the Wind

Mansour signs his fortune over to Camellia and disappears after the party. Later, Camellia finds a blood stain, and as Khaled undertakes the investigation of the crime, she admits to him that she fell in love with Mansour despite hating his brother and wanting to take revenge on him.

When Death Comes

As the police find Mansour's body in the Nile, it's revealed that the cause of death was a blow to the head by a blunt object, and that his coffee was poisoned. Saif consoles the grief-stricken Camellia who vows revenge on Nabil and his siblings for the murder of Mansour and her father.

Ezzat tells Camellia about the hidden box of gold and offers to divide it with her after finding it. Aida steals Nabil’s pictures from Camellia's room. Shafee informs Camelia of a secret about Nabil. Khaled learns that only Camellia and Aida entered the kitchen on the day of the party.

The One Who Cooks Poison

When Khaled finds a poison bottle in Camellia's room, she accuses Aida of planting it there, and tells him about Nabil and Mansour quarreling over Shaheera before he was killed. Aida confronts Nabil about Shaheera's presence at the party.

The Prodigal Son

As Shaheera is killed, Nabil get suspicious of Aida, who advises Nuh's wife to beware of Camellia. When Fahmi’s factory is nationalized, Nuh appoints Hussein as CEO. Nabil confesses to Nuh that Shaheera told him that she had a son from Mansour, which was the reason for his quarrel with the latter.

Fawzi tells Nuh that was married to Sawsan, and that Fahmi forced him to divorce her and marry Souad, after which Sawsan committed suicide, and that Mansour told him on the day he was killed that her killer is someone from the palace. Shafee brings Camellia the news of the palace.
