Camellia extorts money from Nabil in return for her not publishing scandalous photos of him, as it turns out she’s the wife of his uncle Mansour, who’s recently returned from abroad and announced to his nephews that he has a power of attorney from their father to dispose of his assets.

Mansour demands that Mamdouh reveals the location of a box of gold that belongs to Fahmi. Camellia recalls Fahmi's arbitrary expulsion of her father from his factory. As Lt. Col. Khaled investigates Fahmi’s fortune to have it nationalized, he meets Camellia and rejects Mansour’s bribe.

Mansour signs his fortune over to Camellia and disappears after the party. Later, Camellia finds a blood stain, and as Khaled undertakes the investigation of the crime, she admits to him that she fell in love with Mansour despite hating his brother and wanting to take revenge on him.

As the police find Mansour's body in the Nile, it's revealed that the cause of death was a blow to the head by a blunt object, and that his coffee was poisoned. Saif consoles the grief-stricken Camellia who vows revenge on Nabil and his siblings for the murder of Mansour and her father.

Ezzat tells Camellia about the hidden box of gold and offers to divide it with her after finding it. Aida steals Nabil’s pictures from Camellia's room. Shafee informs Camelia of a secret about Nabil. Khaled learns that only Camellia and Aida entered the kitchen on the day of the party.

When Khaled finds a poison bottle in Camellia's room, she accuses Aida of planting it there, and tells him about Nabil and Mansour quarreling over Shaheera before he was killed. Aida confronts Nabil about Shaheera's presence at the party.

As Shaheera is killed, Nabil get suspicious of Aida, who advises Nuh's wife to beware of Camellia. When Fahmi’s factory is nationalized, Nuh appoints Hussein as CEO. Nabil confesses to Nuh that Shaheera told him that she had a son from Mansour, which was the reason for his quarrel with the latter.

Fawzi tells Nuh that was married to Sawsan, and that Fahmi forced him to divorce her and marry Souad, after which Sawsan committed suicide, and that Mansour told him on the day he was killed that her killer is someone from the palace. Shafee brings Camellia the news of the palace.

It turns out that Hussein accepted his position in exchange for the release of his socialist friend Naguib. Shaheera survives a car accident. Aida accuses Camellia of killing Mansour, when the latter rejects her attempts at having amicable relations.

Khaled suspects that Shwikar and Aida are conspiring against Camellia when Aida makes an official statement against Camellia, while the latter warns Mamdouh against manipulating her. Aida orders Nabil and Fawzi to keep Fahmi’s factory under observation.

Saif helps Camellia escape from under Aida’s nose, who then accuses Khaled of colluding with Camellia. Afaf finds out about her father delivering sealed boxes to Uwais.

Aida finds out that Shaheera is alive. Khaled asks Mounir for the party pictures. Souad lets Fawzi in on her suspicions of Aida's involvement in the killing of Mansour.

Uwais is killed after he reveals to Mamdouh the new location of the gold. Khaled obtains Fahmi’s diary, which documents his crimes.

Camellia tells Khaled that Fahmi is the one who wrecked her parents’ marriage. Shaheera accuses Hussein of trying to kill her and claims that he is the father of her child. Afaf tells Mamdouh about seeing him at night in bloodstained clothes, whereupon he’s kidnapped by Ezzat.

Mansour resurfaces under the alias Marco, as it turns out that he faked his own murder and framed Camellia for it, and now demands the treasure from Mamdouh, giving him a week.

When Khaled tells Camellia about the disappearance of Mansour's body and cane, they agree on her turning herself over to the police, upon which she is released on bail and returns to the palace.

Aida vows revenge on Camellia as Nabil turns against her, while the latter brings Mansour, Shaheera’s son, to the palace, declaring that he is his son. Camellia gives Hussein pictures that belong to Nabil and Aida to use them as a weapon against their intrigues.

Aida gets suspicious of Ezzat's attempts to sell the palace. The police arrest the fugitive forensic doctor Adel. Camellia gets news of the gold being hidden in the countryside. Fateen stays in Mamdouh's house.

Khaled learns from Fahmi's diary that Aida incited him against Sawsan. Mansour agrees to give Mamdouh the money to buy Uwais's land to dig up the gold from it. Fawzi finds Sawsan’s necklace that Camellia’s found earlier in Aida's room.

Mansour conspires with Souad against Camellia, as it turns out that the two of them go way back. Khaled interrogates Adel. As Camellia confesses to Khaled what she’s been keeping from him, they are both taken aback by shocking news about Adel.

As Adel is murdered with poison, Mansour's case is closed and Camellia's house arrest is lifted. Hussein refuses to comply with Aida’s will, while the latter incites Shwikar against Khaled, who tells Camelia that Hussein is her half-brother on her mother's side.

Camellia admits to Hussein that Fahmi and Mamdouh forced Safeyya to leave her husband and marry Fahmi. Aida tells Fawzi that Mansour and Fahmi killed Sawsan, meanwhile she makes a deal with Shaheera to sell out Mansour in exchange for money.

Khaled confesses his love to Camellia, who asks him to be patient. Mansour denies killing Sawsan and locks up Souad at his home. Ezzat and Mamdouh travel to buy Fateen’s land. Khaled tells Camellia that Mansour is her mother's killer.

It's revealed that Hussein knows about Mansour's crime, meanwhile news of the former's relationship to Camellia spreads in the palace. Mansour and Ezzat devise a plan to smuggle the gold. Camellia visits Mamdouh to make sure of her father's entitlement of El Seyoufi fortune.

Nabil sells the palace to Marco in secret, and gets half of its price, which enrages Aida, while Khaled inquires about Marco. The police arrest Mamdouh. In the past, it's revealed that Fahmi killed Camellia's father after accusing him of being a spy.

Mamdouh reveals the place of the gold and confesses to killing Uwais, only to find that he’s confessed to Mounir and Camellia. Alaa bargains with Mansour and Ezzat over the gold after it was stolen, and they join forces again. Khaled tells Camellia that Marco and Mansour are the same person.

As Camellia finds a key hidden in the palace, she confesses to Khaled what Mamdouh knows, and confronts Ezzat about it. Souad returns to the palace. Aida offers to collaborate with Hussein to get the gold.

Camellia gives up the idea of revenge and informs Khaled of the plan to smuggle the gold. Alaa and Shwikar plan on getting married and immigrating. Camellia reveals to Mansour that she’s been deceiving him all along, and beats him after a quarrel between him and Khaled.

Khaled buries Mansour's body, while he is wanted by the police on charges of corruption. Mounir forges two IDs for Khaled and for Camellia, who hands over the key to Khaled. Souad informs Khaled that Aida killed Sawsan. Hussein announces that the palace has been nationalized.

The police arrest Mamdouh; Aida goes crazy; Fawzi becomes reconciled with Souad; Fahmi’s children unite. The gold gets nationalized. Ten years after their escape, Khaled and Camellia return and find the treasure hidden in the palace.
