Ghita provides Fatima with a room to live in with her daughters when she falls out with her husband, whom Idris agrees to employ after he's reconciled with her.

Ghita suspects that her husband Idris is having an affair with another woman, whereas Fatima gets sick and her daughters try to comfort her.

Ghita breaks down when she finds out that her husband is cheating on her. Moreover, he tells her of his wish to marry the maid who's pregnant with his son.

Ghita tells her husband that she's pregnant. A girl applies to work as an assistant to the chef, Tayeb, in whose house Laila, and Aisha hide with a baby girl.

Tayeb marries Aisha and they move to a new apartment. Hanan opens a new store. Ghita's daughter, who’s now a grown-up, gets married then divorced despite her mother's objection.

When Hanan decides to get married, her daughter objects, while Tayeb fails to talk her out of the idea of marriage. Ghita’s children grow up.

Ghita throws a party at her home where Mahdi passes out from drugs. Idris feels attracted to Mona.

Mahdi goes to the hospital with Adel, who learns that he does drugs. Ghita quarrels with her husband for neglecting his family. Hanan feels melancholy when her boyfriend leaves her.

Mahdi is discharged from the hospital. Adel is taken with Nada when she goes to see Ghita to check on her health.

Ghita asks Houreya to take care of Mahdi. Mona confesses her love to Idris. The relationship between Adel and Nada grows stronger.

Mahdi's father reveals to him that his mother wanted to abort him as a fetus. Aisha flips when she learns that her daughter is in a relationship with a young man.

When Aisha goes to Hanan, her daughter takes advantage of her absence and steals money from her closet. Mona’s relationship with Asmaa grows stronger.

Adel confesses his love to Nada. As the relationship develops between Idris and Mona, he tells her of his intent to divorce Ghita.

Mahdi runs away from home with Hayat after his mother and sister object to his marriage to Hayat. Mona manages to persuade Idris to give her the money to start her own project.

Ghita finds her son, Mahdi, with the help of Mona, who was able to track him down. Aisha suspects that her daughter is keeping something from her.

Hayat returns to Ghita's house to take care of Mahdi. Mona asks Idris to buy her an apartment. Tayeb dies after suffering from a heart attack.

Aisha starts running the shop, as she and her two sisters try to cope with Tayeb’s death. Mahdi asks his father to help him marry Hayat, which causes Ghita to fall ill.

Abdel Salam meets his daughter Hanan. As Mahdi knocks up Hayat, Idris tells her to have an abortion, but Mahdi marries her. Adel proposes to Nada.

Aisha decides to sell her house. Hanan's daughter plans to travel to Spain. Idris finds out about Mahdi's marriage to Hayat.

Adel and his family back out of asking for Nada's hand in marriage. Idris tells the secret of the watchman to Mona.

Aisha's daughter runs away and is mugged, while her family looks for her. Nada finds out about everything that has happened to her two sisters from Idris.

Aisha's daughter returns, while Hanan finds out that her father has been released from prison and is looking for her. Ghita passes out when she hears the news of Mahdi's marriage to Hayat.

Aisha empties the apartment and prepares to move in with Hanan, whose daughter is intent on traveling to Spain, to which end she is helped by Hamid. Nada refuses to marry Adel.

Aisha moves into Hanan's apartment. Nada gets Idris's daughter mixed up in a ruse. Mahdi looks for Hayat.

Aida calls Mona to find out what's happened to her in the apartment with her boyfriend. Aisha wants to find her father after his release from prison. Mahdi and Adel take Hayat to the hospital after they find her lying on the ground.

Mona, the daughter of Badia, whom Ghita killed and Abdel Salam was accused of killing, returns to exact vengeance on all the members of Idris’s family. When Mona tells Ghita about her relationship with Idris, Ghita is taken to the hospital, where she’s treated by Nada.

Hoda finds out that Saeed is her father, while he tries to ask for Hanan’s forgiveness. Idris embezzles the investors’ money in the project, including Aisha’s. Ghita suffers from brain cancer.

Hanan quarrels with her daughter because she wants to have a close relationship with her father. Hoda injects Ghita with an unknown drug to implicate Nada.

Aisha meets her father and takes him home, where he’s reconciled with Hanan, whereupon Nada takes him to the hospital to treat him, only to become paralyzed when he sees Ghita.

Ghita passes away. Adel executes his mother's will and gives the money to Aisha and Hanan, whereupon Nada forgives him and agrees to marry him. Mona meets her real father.
