There is a lot of commotion going on because kids keep disappearing from the area. As Abu Nazir keeps mistreating his family and controlling their lives, the maid, Thuraya, takes advantage of the situation and flirts with him. Elsewhere, Shaima searches for the child Nader in the dangerous gardens.

After Abu Nazir beats his grandson Mazen amidst his family's disapproval, he recalls old memories of Shaima. Elsewhere, Nader's kidnapper makes Shaima lose consciousness and sets the hut on fire, but she manages to escape with Nader, who is unconscious.

Nader dies, and Shaima suffers burns. It turns out that Shaima was the wife of Abu Nazir, and Thuraya tells lies to the latter. When Abu Gamal refuses to have Nader's body autopsied, Shaima stands up to him. Elsewhere, Abu Ezzo plots against Marwan.

Abu Nazir rebukes his son for refusing to give false testimony against Shaima in the past. Shaima silences anyone who insults her honor. Gossip spreads about Naji's involvement with the jinn. After the autopsy, it is determined that Nader had suffocated to death. Thuraya returns to seduce Abu Nazir.

Nazir rejects the pleas of Arabi's mother to accept Arabi and Malak's marriage. Police suspect that Naji is the murderer. Nader's burial ceremony takes place. Nazir asks Thuraya for some firewood to help Anwar without his father's permission. The unknown continues to visit the neighborhood.

It becomes clear why Shaima and Abu Nazir divorced, as the latter accused a worker of stealing the dagger and for defending Naji. Nasouh is kidnapped. The mukhtar (the village chief) and Lutfi fight for an unknown reason.

It becomes clear that Abu Ezzo stole the dagger, which then became in the possession of Thuraya. The mukhtar is amazed at Abu Nazir's defense of Naji. Corporal Haidar and Abu Afif, with the help of Lutfi, find Nasouh, who has passed out, in the gardens.

The relationship between Nazir and his father worsens due to Nazir's desire to marry Arabi and Malak, while Malak refuses to run away with Arabi. The criminal, Nasouh, is killed in the hospital. Abu Afif beats the doctor, and the latter reports what happened to some official.

Abu Ezzo tells Subhiya that she has to kill someone and confronts her about a murder she committed in the past. Marwan keeps going to Subhiya in secret, and it becomes clear that Naji hates Abu Ezzo and Subhiya. Abu Nazir refuses Naji's insults towards Shaima.

Strange powers appear on Naji while he is beating the youths of the alley, and the mukhtar informs Abu Afif that there is a curse on Naji. As Marwan watches Naji's mother cast curses on the alley, he finds the body of the mukhtar stabbed by an unknown person.

Tayseer proposes to Thuraya, and Marwan gets injured in his leg while escaping after one of the guards sees him next to the mukhtar's body. An exchange of bullets takes place between Marwan and the guard. Thuraya treats Marwan secretly, while Abu Nazir eavesdrops on their conversation.

Abu Nazir hides Marwan's weapon and orders everyone to be silent. Abu Afif interrogates the guard and discovers part of the secret between Lutfi and the mukhtar. Abu Nazir proposes to Thuraya and orders Tayseer to keep the matter secret. Shaima escapes from the criminal who is chasing her.

Rumors spread about the guard Awad's ability to uncover the killer. Nazir swears to his father not to help Anwar again. Malak flees to Shaima's house after Abu Nazir beats her because Arabi drilled a hole in the wall of her room, and the latter falls off the roof.

Nazir becomes ill as a result of seeing his father about to kill Malak. Abu Nazir involves Anwar with him in the process of searching for Malak, and the latter flees from Shaima's house. Arabi becomes paralyzed, while Abu Afif is subjected to a rebuke by his boss.

The doctor and the major take revenge on Abu Afif and frame him for a crime. Thuraya announces to Nazir's family that the former Puran knows what happened, and Maamoun hits her. Abu Ezzo orders Subhiya to keep some man company at night. Malak takes refuge in Anwar's house.

Abu Ezzo hears Marwan talking about his family's secrets with Subhiya, and Marwan proposes to the latter. Subhiya kills a man while he approaches her, while Naji searches for the identity of his father. Abu Nazir orders his grandsons to kill Malak, so Nazir asks to assign Tayseer to the matter.

Marwan fails to convince his brothers to give up their desire for revenge. When the guard sees Marwan in the hospital, he flees. As Abu Nazir assigns Umm Naji to keep Malak away from Tayseer, she demands that he share his inheritance with his son, Naji. Tayseer and Maamoun find Malak.

Thuraya secretly vows revenge on Abu Nazir's family for an unknown reason. Lutfi is released, and the unknown criminal beats Tayseer before he kills Malak, then flees. Marwan helps Malak get away and hide in their grandfather's workshop. He also finds out that Subhiya has been cheating on him.

Marwan is harsh on Malak. Anwar's wife throws Marwan and Malak out of her house while Abu Ezzo is watching them. When Tayseer wakes up from his coma, Abu Nazir orders him not to kill Malak. Malak catches a glimpse of the murderer while he is watching her.

When Maamoun divorces Puran, Abu Nazir refuses to let her return to her family's house. Thuraya reveals her true face to Haya, after which she refuses to marry Abu Nazir in secret. Abu Nazir discovers that there are hidden arrangements for Malak and Arabi's wedding at Nouriya's house.

Nazir hides his father's weapon. Abu Nazir and Thuraya's engagement is announced, Tayseer's health worsens, and Shaima and Khawla prevent Abu Nazir, who is armed with Marwan's gun, from killing Malak. An unknown person shoots Abu Nazir, and Abu Nazir assigns Marwan to hide the gun.

Abu Nazir recovers, and Shaima's not visiting him saddens him, while Shaima is unable to do so. The masked criminal secretly visits Malak, confesses his love to her, and asks her to remember him from her childhood. It turns out that the masked man is Latif, Lutfi's brother.

Marwan denies the charge of assaulting Tayseer and tells his brothers that Thuraya is threatening him with imprisonment because of his insult to her. Latif pretends that he has a mental disability while Naji is talking to him, and then he kidnaps the boy Baher and hits him on the head.

Thuraya acts superior to Shaima and Nazir's family. A quarrel breaks out between Naji and Lutfi because of Latif. Maamoun takes Puran back to his matrimonial authority. Abu Ezzo plots to ward off suspicions of the murder from him and Subhiya, and Shaima searches for Baher at night.

Naji is acquitted of Baher's murder because he was in prison. Abu Nazir searches for who shot him. Shaima confesses to her brother that she remembers the scent of the killer. As Thuraya accuses Puran of talking to their neighbor, Shaima suddenly enters the house.

Shaima declares the innocence of Puran and Gamal. Maamoun divorces Puran on his grandfather's order. Lutfi watches Latif sneaking into Abu Arabi's house. Thuraya recalls her reasons for taking revenge on Abu Nazir and slips a drug into his coffee. Naji gets involved with the bandits and kills Suleiman.

Malak tells Nouriya, Arabi, and Anwar about Latif's stalking of her. Anwar informs Haidar about what happened, so Malak is assigned to come to the police station to identify Latif. Abu Nazir and Thuraya get married, and Shaima connects the events in order to reveal the killer's identity.

Marwan confronts Subhiya with who she really is and rejects her. Thuraya continues to drug Abu Nazir, and Maamoun blames his parents for his grandfather's control over their lives. Haidar searches for Latif to interrogate him, and Tayseer promises Maamoun to take revenge on Gamal.

Subhiya kills Abu Ezzo, and Marwan and Maamoun leave the house. Tayseer hides designs related to his grandfather's workshop, and Marwan is accused. Latif shoots Arabi and kidnaps Mazen. Umm Naji threatens Abu Nazir with telling Naji about his killing of his sister and his real mother.

Arabi is killed, Shaima kills Latif and saves Mazen, and Abu Nazir kicks his family, except for Tayseer, out of his home. Thuraya takes revenge on Abu Nazir and leaves him sick. Tayseer robs his grandfather and betrays him.  Anwar takes care of his father after everyone abandons him.
