The 62nd ACE "American Cinema Editors" Awards was held yesterday 18 February and announced the winners for films of 2011. "The Artist" edited by Ann-Sophie Bion and "The...Read more Descendants" edited by Kevin Tent won Best Edited Feature Film (Comedy or Musical) and Best Edited Feature Film (Drama) respectively. "Rango" won Best Edited Animated Feature Film and "Freedom Riders" won Best Edited Documentary. French film "The Artist" directed by Michel Hazanavicius and "The Descendants" directed by Alexander Payne have been winning the majority of this season's festivals awards, and they are both in competition for the Oscars which will be held in the Kodac Theater on 26 February.
