He later met with Togo Mizrahi, who offered him to shoot his film Doctor Farahat (1935), followed by Daughter of the Countryside. He also contributed to discovering many current movie stars, most notably is the actress, Yousra. In 1942, he formed a production company with the late artists Ahmed Badr Khan and Helmy Rafla, under the name (Union of Artists), after which he became independent in the company in 1948 and produced eight films of his own production.
