A French writer and novelist whose novels received positive recognition from film makers in Egypt and the world. Director Hassan El-Imam presented the movie People's Hearts (1954), an adaptation of Marie's novel "The False Father". Hassan El-Imam also presented his film Truth Has a Voice, another adapted work of Marie's "Roger Lahunt".
