An Egyptian director, born in 1946. He obtained a diploma from the Higher Institute of Cinema, directing department in 1968. His artistic career began as an assistant director for a number of directors including Kamal El-Sheikh, Mahmoud Zulfikar and Ashraf Fahmy. He directed films including, Professor Munajid, Naughty Girls of Shubra and Secret of the Game.
