Her full name is Aaidah Riyadh Ragheb Shahata and she was born in the district of Bulaq. She was spotted by director Ahmed Yaseen who hired her in the film With My Regards to the Dear Professor. Thereafter her career took off and she presented several plays including One Is a Lemon and the Other is Mad and Nuts and Almonds. She also took part in the television series Sparkle of the Clouds, The Game of Love and Revenge and The Ladies of Garden City. She received awards for her performances with the national troupe and for the films The People of the Top and The Dreams of Hend and Camelia.
