An Egyptian actress who was born in Cairo. Her Father is the famous doctor Hassan Hosni Rashad. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, English department Cairo University. She started her career when Mohamed Karim chose her to act in the movie Dalila. Atef Salem is the one who made her name shine through We Are the Students and A Conflict in the Nile. Her TV roles include Rafaat El Hagaan and The Twins. She married the late director Yehia El Elmy who brought her in his series only.
