He was discovered by musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab who cast him in the film...Read more “Dumua’ El Hub” (Tears of Love) in 1935. Afterwards, Naguib El Rehani saw Safa’s comedic talent so cast him in the film “Salama Fi Kheir” (Everything is Fine) in 1937. Afterwards, and despite the fact he was handicapped, he appeared in a successive number of films, including: “Silifni 3 Gineh” (Lend Me Three Pounds) in 1939, “Ghazal El Binat” (The Flirtation of Girls) in 1949, “Al Ustaaza Fatima” (Teacher Fatima) in 1952, “Mathaf El Sham’a” (Wax Museum) in 1956.
