An Egyptian singer, actor and composer, born in Ismailia. He grew up in Ain Shams district in Cairo. Early on in his career he joined the 4M band, which he left in 1983. He went on to release a number of very successful albums such as We Walked on, Confused, and True Love. He made his acting debut in the 1991 movie What the Heart Wants. But 1997 proved a turning point in his career, as the movie Ismailia: Back and Forth, which was inspired by his own life, became a phenomenal hit. Fouad starred in other movies, such as Love Journey (2001), and What's Going on? (2002).


Muhammad Fouaad Abdul Hameed is an Egyptian singer who was born in ‘Abbasseyya – Cairo to a family with three sisters and seven brothers. He passed his childhood days in Helwaan. Fouaad released manu successful albums during the 1990s like; “Kamannanna”, “Hayraan i.e. Confused”, “Bawadda’ak i.e. Goodbye” and “Al-hobb al-hakeeky i.e. True love”. He also played many films and performed well as an actor in; “Eshaaret morour i.e. Traffic sign”, “Amreeka sheekabeeka”, “Esm’eeleyya raayeh gay i.e. Esma’eeleyya go and return”. Muhammad co-wrote some his films.
