A Syrian writer and actor, born in 1954 in Latakia, Syria. He obtained a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Aleppo in 1984. He co-wrote The Rooster (1994), then turned to the theater. The first theatrical work he directed in 1977 was a play entitled "Job Hunters," written by a Bulgarian writer. He also participated in the play The Invaders and appeared as an actor in the series The Collar of Girls (2014).
