An Egyptian actor born in 1905. He began working in Imad El-Din theaters and moved between several theater groups. Due to his sharp features, he was often typecast as a villain, like in the film, I Am the Past (1950). He co-founded the production company, Silver Star with actor Mahmoud El Meleigy in the mid-fifties. He's famous for his roles in Class Distinctions (1954) and We're Human (1955). He passed away on 15 October 1976.
