An Egyptian monologue singer and actor who was born in Cairo in 1931. After graduating from the Faculty of Law, he was introduced to the cinema by director Niazi Mostafa through the film She's So Pretty (1950) starring Camelia. He's known for Palace of Desire (1966), Don't Ask Me Who I Am (1984), and The Famous Case (1978). He also regularly performed monologues at City Lights concerts. He resided at the end of his life in the United States until he died there.
