A Palestinian director, who is considered one of the most prominent TV directors in Syria. He is the son of the Palestinian poet Youssef El Khatib and the husband of the Syrian journalist Diana Jabbour. He was born in Hilversum, Netherlands in 1962, and obtained a diploma in film and television directing from Moscow. His notable work includes the series Days of Rage.
