An Egyptian director, writer, and plastic artist, born on June 6, 1934. He obtained a BA of Fine Arts, Department of Photography in 1957. His writing debut was the movie The Impossible (1965), which he co-wrote with Mustafa Mahmoud. He is known for My Father Is Above the Tree...Read more (1969), and The Thin Thread (1971). He passed away on April 14, 2001, at age 67.
