Dima Kandalaft is a Syrian singer and actor born in Damascus. Dima studied Economy. She was a member of “Al-Farah” band, where she started singing. Then she joined the band “Kaws Kozah” before joining the band “Safar”, where they performed live in Lebanon and the Syrian TV broadcasted some of their songs. Dima joined the High Institute of Dramatic Arts. Her first role was in the play “Oghneyat al-kamar”, directed by Sahar Markada. Kandalaft costarred Saamer al-Masry and Baassel Khayyaat in the play “Abyad-Aswad i.e. Black and white” then she played in’”Abyad X Abyad i.e. White & White”, TV series starring ‘Aabed Fahd.
