He starred in many successful films in the 1930's including “Chalom Alriyady” ( Chalom the Sportsman) and “El Ezz Bahdala” (Wealth is Trouble). Around the same period he formed an acting duo with comedian Ahmed El...Read more Haddad, which was known as “Chalom and Abdo.” Chalom's stardom was short-lived, specifically due to the appearance of comedian Ali El Kassar. He died in 1948, aged 48.
