An Egyptian music composer, born in Cairo in 1931. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Music in Egypt in 1958, and worked in The Puppet Theatre. He also studied music at the Higher Institute of Arabic Music. In 1968, he started working on the radio. He worked on many theatrical shows such as Goblins of Paper, and Abu Ali. He passed away in 2017.
