An Egyptian actor, born in Fayoum on May 27, 1881. He graduated from the School of Law, and worked at the Ministry of Awqaf. He resigned from his job in 1912 to work in George Abyad's troupe. He formed a troupe bearing his name in 1917, joined by Ahmed Allam, and Soliman Naguib, among others. He participated in films, such as: The Song of the Heart (1932), and Shajarat Al-Durr (1935). He died on October 13, 1939.
