A music composer and art critic, born on December 8, 1942, in Sharqia. He studied at the Higher Institute of Arabic Music, and studied journalism at the Faculty of Arts. After graduating, he was appointed as a singer and actor in the Performing Arts Troupe at the Ministry of Culture, starring in the play Bint Battuta, and was approved as a singer on television in 1968, and a composer on the radio in 1975. He scored more than 50 series, and nearly 60 riddle show episodes. He died after a struggle with cancer on December 19, 2014 at the age of 72.
