An Egyptian actress, born in Port Said. She began her professional life working as a customs inspector, then founded the Customs Theater Troupe in 1984, after which she worked in the theater club with the late Fouad Saleh, whereupon she moved to Cairo to perform the play The Dolphins, and then she got a role in the series Al-Helmiya Nights. Her most notable roles were in the movie The Mood, and in the series We Don't Grow Thistle.
