He directed several documentaries on many Syrian landmarks such as the Umayyad Mosque, Palmyra, and the Syrian citadels. He made two feature films for the General...Read more Organization for Cinema: Red, White, and Black (1976), and Love for Life (1981). He also made one of the films in the Shame trilogy in 1974. Other works of his include Hunting Men (1976) and The Clown's Love (1976). He died in 2002.
