She is one of the most prominent Arab and Moroccan artists, and one of the stars of the stage and Moroccan cinema. She was appointed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI as Minister of Culture on October 15, 2007. She was born in Casablanca on October 16, 1952. She graduated from the National Institute of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and Authentic Education (Diploma of theatrical specialization).
