He worked as a...Read more reporter and writer for magazines, and started journalism in 1953. He joined cinema by writing a script in 1959. He began directing in 1963 with the movie Three Angry Teen. He tried to focus on the problems of young people in a variety of films. He died on December 25, 1990 in Istanbul, Turkey.
